Do you know whats happening with Destiny right now?
This does not belong in #Destiny.
So I got thinking, how many people in Off topic actually still play and\or keep up to date with Destiny? Cos I've gotten into the habit of ignoring everything on the home screen and proceeding to this place and I wondered how many other people do the same.

3 답변I gave it an honest attempt. I really wanted to love it. And if it was what they originally promised to us.. I have little doubt that I'd be all over Destiny's nuts for the next 10 years. I'm a huge MMO and FPS fan. Only two genres I tend to play. So when Destiny was first revealed, my mind was officially in full fanboy mode. "This is all I've ever wanted..." But what we got was just another FPS with all the tediousness of an MMO, but with literally none of the good parts of one. So I still stuck around for a while thinking "well, maybe it'll all come in later DLC or something". Then the first expansion came and all the drama about what really happened to the game during development started to unfold. That's when I realized that Destiny isn't intended to be the game I was hoping for. So I moved on to something else and haven't looked back since. So I won't say "-blam!- Destiny". But it's certainly not something I'm at all interested in.

2 답변Usually the updates are small on ps3 So if I have games to update on ps4, I play Destiny on ps3 until my monthly cap is renewed.

6 답변Sold it within a week after it came out and haven't looked back since. Shitty game that is an unfortunate testament to how low Bungie has fallen.

1 답변I quit December 2014, and I kept up to date until the second DLC came out. Occasionally I would read a weekly update, but once they announced microtransactions I stopped completely.

7 답변I would still be addicted to destiny if I hadn't bought bo3. I still play destiny- but bo3 is my life, now.

1 답변Despite it's shortcomings, I have fallen in love with the setting and gameplay. Bungie just needs to nail the story with the sequel.

I like it cause it's a game that entertains from time to time like what halo 3 did. People hate it because they think they got robbed but in reality it's nobody's fault but your own. "You payed for it" but you aren't satisfied. That's life. The people here to Blame for video game disasters is the community itself.
