Let's go over this conversation
Shoulder Charge is not an actual melee ability. That is Storm Fist. Shoulder Charge is a separate ability that deals melee damage.
To which I said: It's still a 1hk You: So is my super (?) Me: One has a huge cooldown time, the other has no cooldown You: Blink strike has cooldown? That's where I get confused about what your trying to say. Point is shoulder charge does count as a melee even if it's not the melee of strikers. Dunno what supers or blink strike have to do with it.

Blink Strike is the only melee that can kill a guardian at full health, if Backstab procs. Shoulder Charge is not a melee but is an ability that deals melee damage. Your response was that it kills in one hit so it should be compared. My retort, although somewhat implied, was that supers kill in one hit too. More specifically Arc Blade and Suncharge, which both deal melee damage. I don't think you would compare these to your regular melee ability even though both of them do melee damage.

Big difference between an insta kill that's always active and one that active after 4 mins. Backstab has a cooldown, flame shield has a cooldown, just because shoulder charge isn't in the same tree as melee does not mean it's not a melee attack. And btw I don't care at all about shoulder charge, it doesn't bother me in the least, so not crying to nerf it

It does melee damage.... it's a melee. Simple as that. You even said it yourself. Denying the fact that it is a melee is like saying a sharpened piece of metal with a handle isn't a knife, just because it didn't come in a box that says "knife"
