What is wrong with the crucible? Noone wants to get into a gunfight anymore.
The current state of the crucible is so stale. Noone wants to shoot or challenge you anymore. They see a red blip on the radar and they just immediately crouch and wait for you to come around the corner.. what happened? I remember going after thorn in Vanilla destiny and it was just utter chaos. People were just run n gunning. What's with this campy ass "meta"
And whenever the weekend hits and it's ToO time? All you see in the recruitment forum is [b]MUST BE GOOD WITH A SNIPER OR SHOTGUN[/b], I guess noone cares about your primary skills..

Too many people only care about KD. So they'd rather go 3-1 as opposed to 30-20.. (just a rough example)

1 답변It's because of the nerf mentality of the community. Let's take shotguns for example. If you sprint around a corner and get blasted in the face with a shotgun, well that's shitty tactics on your part, assuming both players were sprinting around the corners and not camping. To me nerfing weapons to appease the unskilled is a huge mistake because no matter what you do to level the playing field, they are still unskilled.

2 답변Was playing IB on Black Shield and at one point in the I had ran into the room immediately after A Point, leads into center room. Now I was running Nightstalker and was kitted out with NLB and Knucklehead Radar. Some kid went to run from center room in A room, I went to take aim and the little twat backed out immediately. Run around the corner and crouched with a shotgun. I could see the twerp's blip on the radar every second or so as usual, so I waited. I hard scoped until he realized I was going through that door. So he continues and crouching to try and catch me off guard and I just adjusted my aim and blew his brains out. What a pussy.

Haha too true my friend. Decided to play a couple of games rushing the enemy team and so much fun! Yeah i got killed but normally get 1 or 2 kills in process through sheer surprise! 'Wait....what..this guy....he's not sniping but coming towards us....fast!!! Wtf fo we do?!!'

24 답변Everytime I see a hunter it's either a shadestep away, a wombo combo, or a shadow shot. Never a primary, and the same goes for titans with twilight garrison. Warlocks seem to be the only one that fights because they don't have any evasive maneuvers. They have to stop adding all these evasive mechanics because its turning everyone into cowards.

I think the issue is more that everything has been nerfed to death and now the ttk is mega mega slow unless you have a grenade or super or something. So more often than not people just lob grenades, primary the last bit of damage for the kill then wait for it to charge up again. All the while they then switch to the sniper. Rinse and repeat. I was never a huge fan of the shotgun glory days or the thorn abuse, but at least that meta kept the game really fast pace. In part, I think thats why the firebolt w/ viking funeral and touch of flame is such an issue now, because people need to use their grenades more to reduce that ttk. Bungie, as the developers should just undo all nerfs and start again but instead buff guns that aren't competing. In addition, they should look at reducing the respawn timer so you die faster but you spend less time dead.

It's because people can't snipe with shotguns anymore so everyone makes up for it by camping. And people who blame ttk make me laugh. Almost every primary is a 3 shot kill. Besides the guns like DOP but they still kill so fast.

An people always complain about shotguns being better in year 1 just so they can shoot them literally through 2 rooms, I've gotta say they are better, but the way sniping is now is almost just the same as year 1, every one does it, an finds cheaper ways of using it. There is basically no primary gun play when your in your weapons range (AR Hand cannons Pulse rifle) there's ether a shotgun if your to close, or a sniper ether double taping you, or trying to look cute a body shot you then swap to the primary. Primaries need more attention. An specials need to be viewed as whole.

Today I just ran around with mk 44's shoulder charging people. Or blasting with Thesan if they were too far to charge. It sucked though, had to actually use my primary a few times. But then I got to go back to the fun way of killing things. If they'd just remove those pesky primaries! :)

If you play for fun you get hate mail from the sweaties. Costant nerfing and tinkering for ballance has made it worse. At the end of the day most pvp slows down because people become more familiar with maps and stick to certain areas for kills.
