Guys, it's something most of us have to do even though we hate to admit it..
What do you do or say to convince your better half to let (That's right, and you know it!) you spend sweet precious time playing on Destiny or let us say to game in general?
Oh, and before someone throws the word 'sexist' around, we all know what women offer ( or refuse ) when they want something. 😉
Don't take this too seriously guys, it's just a bit of fun.
The irony of this statement is just too good to ignore. You who sit behind your keyboard, spouting about the 'pussification of the new generations' which you are literally the personification of.
You see, the post was a joke. It refers to the eye rolls and compromise, the inside mechanisms of the long term relationship that I doubt you have any idea about. In fact, I doubt you've ever felt an adult relationship have you? If at all, but I imagine when you strain your little head to think of some quippy comeback that you've been married for 20 years.
Here's some advice kid, and the rest of you teenagers on the whole "If she loves you, she should let you do whatever you want" bandwagon should listen up too;
When you eventually grow up and find hair on your nutsack, and then one day possibly find a woman who for some unknown reason to me decides that you're worthy of spending her life with - You will realise that actually yourself and your own happiness isn't your main concern anymore. You'll soon have responsibilities, and you won't have as much free time as you think you will. When it comes down to choosing whether you're going to play on the PS4 or spend time with your wife, it's no hard decision, and that's called being a real man.
2 답변작성자: AK47Trainwreck 5/22/2016 9:47:49 PMWe have a add on to our house so we have 2 master bedrooms. I turned the smaller of the two into a game room. Has 2 50 inch TVs mounted on the wall. 2 ps4 and cable TV. Got her a nice loundge chair next to my recliner so she can play her own games or be on computer or watch TV whatever floats her boat. She's right there next to me and we talk while I play and I stop if she needs something. Its on the other side of the house oposite the our bedroom so I can stay up late and not bother her. She plays games too just not as much as I do. As long as I don't ignore her I play as much as I like. And I always stop to tuck her into bed and kiss her goodnight. #bestwifeever Edit: I also have two kids so adding the game room and a space for them helps too. I can still spend time with my family and game all I want. I made sure I had room for all my stuff and theirs so its my room when everyone is asleep and the family room when we are all together. I also try to prioritize. I do most of my gaming when my kids are in bed and try to spend my free time with wife and sons when they are awake. If you have a extra room in your house for multiple TVs and play area it is amazing. Best idea I ever had. :)

With 2 little kids and a wife, I just wait until they're asleep or gone. Playing while they're awake is pure torture. "Daddy, I need...." and "Honey, could you..." every -blam!-ing time matchmaking has sent me to battle. It's a good thing that a full blown mid-life crisis also grants +2 Insomnia and -5 Give-a-shits.

The struggle is very real-My girl absolutely hates Destiny & most of the time im playing leads to a fight-real tough to tell your girl "its tuesday,you know i cant go out to dinner-its reset day on destiny"-many nights have ended with me on the couch over this silly game.......what ive come up with is playing after she goes to bed-which usually means gaming after 11p & on weekends waking up at 6am so i can get a few hours in b4 she wakes up at 10a......i make it work-pick my spots & do my best to keep us both happy!!

4 답변My husband and I game together. When I don't feel like gaming, I'm more than happy to sit on the couch and give him annoying commentary while he's in the Crucible or make fun of his raid team.

3 답변I think I game more than any guy I've ever dated. Even had a guy who constantly got pissed off because I gamed a lot. So this can go both ways.

I never stuck with anyone who had a stick up her ass about gaming. Took a while to find a hot, smart, funny woman who has similar interests as me. Star wars? Check. Comic books? Check. Fishing/camping/hiking? Check. Video games? Check. She only gets butt hurt if she wants to go somewhere or watch one of her shows and I'm hogging the xbox. "Hold on, honey. Let me just finish this level..."

3 답변Here's what I do. I have my normal tv in the living room, and a smaller 32 inch one that I can easily put away. I normally play on the smaller tv, so that she can watch TV or whatever and still hang out with me while we both do our own separate hobbies. It's worked for me. Qualifies as spending time together.

You see some of us dont have any sexual drive or any desire at all to be with a girl at all times and much less marry one. Girlfriend sure but it still at that level. Honestly my vales have always been like this 1. Grades 2. Ball 3. Hobbies 4. Girl. Now most may say "Thats is stupid" but everyone has different values and grow up differently, and so you think some things are more important then others. I dont grow up with my mom for reasons i rather not say. And my dad was working to put stuff on my back but as soon as my grade drop, so did everything in my room. I learn from my dad that its still possible to live by yourself and still have a great time. Like i said as long as my grades were up so was his attitude (oh and when i mean up i mean must have a 93% or around a 3.7 GPA)

1 답변I play with the kids, wrestle, clean up/do dishes, and work hard at my job. I also point out that Destiny is cheaper than, say, a Jetski payment/insurance, and that seems to help me out.
