So we can disable a perk from a super for over a month but we can't disable Clown Cartrige to ensure we play Trials and Banner?

1 답변I have an omolon sniper that has clown cartridge on it and i just want to say that the perk itself is also bugged. Every other time i would get an extra round on the sniper or after a few minutes of reloading, a new round would appear. Its nice that they are taking a look at both perks right now instead of the players dealing with this in trials.

13 답변You are making a very large assumption that disabling clown cartridge is a simple thing and that it is the actual problem. Fixes take time because you can make things worse. They need to be tested. the deeper the problem the more the testing. Cocoon effects a handful of weapons. Clown cartridge can effect a ton. Last thing you want to do is introduce a bug that breaks the game when half the weapons in it are equipped.

Perhaps there is more to the glitch from a coding standpoing than we non-computer-geeky-types understand, so that fully disabling the perk would not necessarily solve the issue. I think rather than disable the perk, they should let IB/Trials go on as is and heavily monitor gameplay for exploiters. If people are caught exploiting, they are banned permanently from PVP, all IB/Trials gear is rendered unequipable, and their clan tag is replaced with "PVP Cheater"

If only I had a raid weapon left over. Then I could be a rocket spawning scrub pissing everyone off. Check the perfect perks on my Hunter's equipped rocket launcher. That thing would be great if I abused this exploit. Don't feel like doing the raid for a weapon though. The Cure: Clown Cartridge Heavy Payload Grenades and Horseshoes High base velocity and blast radius.

1 답변ITT: people who don't get that coding problems aren't equal, didn't remember how Bungie handled Trials when Quiver was broken, and have to be idiots to think Bungie shutting down the two biggest PVP events in the game because of some conspiracy theory bullshit. I miss anyone?

1 답변That's how they roll. They'll patch a raid glitch overnight with no thought as to other glitches it may cause. A glitch like this one... they jack around for a month and wind up breaking everything again when they do get around to patching it.

A perk on a weapon affects multiple base codes across multiple weapons. That is like taking the grapes out of one fruit salad, vs taking a specific type of grape out of the fruit section of a chain grocery store. It is a significantly larger equation with the coding involved.

They should have left the events and just turned off heavy in PVP until it's fixed which is tested in the Staging/test environment. We are being punished for this bug and thats not right. Or just leave it as a bug until you have a patch. Sun breakers basically start with heavy every game anyway since the beginning of time

9 답변I agree with most of your posts in this thread. I think that I would have left everything running until a fix was ready though. Played a group trying to run this exploit last night and we stomped them. It's almost an inconvenience for this cheat because your not using your best weapons for 3v3, of course this is an opinion. Anyway I wouldn't have minded playing against people using this cheat or exploit. This would have also led to more of the community abusers getting temp banned as well I would hope.
