We need matchmaking (MM) or it will be EOL Destiny!
As an adult gamer with a busy job, long working hours and a family to take care of, I'm in no positions to join a fireteam or spend time "Looking For Groups". For this reason I've never played Vault of Glass, King's Fall, Crota's End or Prison of Elders L32/35.
I played Crucible Matches and Quests but i'm at a point now that the remaining Quests, Gear and Weapons are out of reach. And this is really killing the fun. I love the Destiny world but without matchmaking for all raids this game is EOL for me.
Bungie, get smart and change your game, cause I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one!

I agree with you about MM as long as it's optional. I think you should be able to participate in every activity. You paid for it, so you should be able to play it. Now having said that, I still don't think you'll have time to do the raid. A MM raid would most likely be a nightmare. With the AFK people, unskilled people, underlevel people, clueless people....you would get fed up. Just saying.
