I personally liked elemental primary's and seeing the come back would be pretty awesome it would also give me another reason to grind strikes and try to go flawless in trials. But would you guys and gals like to see elemental primary's again?

Now that I have gotten used to how long it takes to remove shields from enemies, it doesn't really matter to me anymore.
Except for when Match Game is an active modifier in nightfall strikes... Or whichever modifier it is that strengthens all enemy shields against all damage types except for the corresponding damage type to it. That one gets annoying.
Majority of players used strictly elemental primaries when they were in the game. I myself can say that vision of confluence and fatebringer were in my loadout 95% of the time in PvE, except maybe during void burn activities. However, I think they should introduce a few exotics on par with the zhalo supercell. I use it occasionally, but there are many other exotics I would prefer to use. This would at least give people the option for an elemental primary, but since it's exotic, it wouldn't be overly used like year one elemental primaries

Just like how people loved just about every single weapon from the vault of glass (I can't think of a weapon that didn't have a cool perk) and then made a somewhat as good list for crota's end (there were some good ones in there) and then shat all over all of that with two words: shank burn.

Every time you fully complete a Challenge of the Elders Sigil, beat HM Oryx, open a Flawless Chest or get Iron Banner Rank 5, you will automatically get either a Solar Core, an Arc Core or a Void Core. These will grant either a solar, arc or void burn to almost any primary, and are applied like Chroma. The only weapons you can't apply elemental cores to are weapons that already come with an element (VoG primaries, CE primaries, PoE Level 35 Skolas primaries, Year 1 Adept primaries, Vex Mythoclast, Necrochasm and Zhalo Supercell). I think that this system is needed because having an elemental primary makes Nightfalls with burns a lot more fun and in general makes shielded enemies less of a pain, but circumvents the problem of decreased weapon variance. Edit: I think Elemental Cores should also drop from Nightfall Strikes and Shaxx's Weekly Bounties too.

Or just all primaries can have an elemental damage that's randomly dropped with the roll. Just like trials used to do. Who had one of each primary in every element?? I did. Best weapon diversity I've had from this game. I just switched from gjally to raze lighter. And now everyone rocks 1k stare in pve and pvp. The best primaries for pve are old school hung jury and smite with firefly. That's my load out. For everything.

I did, but no longer care. So, doesn't matter anymore what Bungie chooses to do with the arsenal in Destiny. It's their product, they can alter it as they chose. Bungie said they removed them to provide weapon choice. Removing choice to increase choice? Is that supposed to make sense? Well, to me, it's a disingenuous statement from a known liar intended to be taken as truth for they think I'm stupid! Like I said, it doesn't matter anymore...
