Okay so I'm here to talk about how easy they have made it for people that can't even complete the raid to still reach light lvl 335.
For example you could be on the losing team of Iron Banner and still get a 335 drop
You could farm strikes with 3 of coin and get 335 pulls from your exotic engrams
You could do the sigil and get 335 drops
All the stuff named above is way to easy to do, so I don't think they should drop 335
I miss year 1 when we had to have 3 of the same character to try and get full raid gear in which would also raise you to max light, you could only reach max light by having full raid gear
It kinda put everyone in a bracket
I'm all for everyone having fun and enjoying games , but I'm sick and tired of doing Kings Fall hard mode and getting 330s that don't even know what the 4th knight is in the raid
What's you guys opinion on this topic?
Should it be easy to reach 335? Or should there be something that separates the great from the good?
if you are gonna be immature don't comment, looking for mature responses only
Thanks for all the feedback, I've been enlightened on many things I over looked thanks to all the mature peaceful responses I've received!
You guys are great!
Edit 1: okay so if you are gonna trash talk DO NOT COMMENT, this post is for mature discussion on a matter of opinion involving achieving max light level, I will report for any condescending comments or trash talk BE MATURE
Edit 2: IM NOT SAYING LIGHT LEVEL IS YOUR SKILL LEVEL, IM SAYING IT SHOULD!

3 답변Yea it should, you dont have to raid with bad players. Find a group that can complete the raid without an issue and stick to it. If your regular group can't raid or you need an extra person don't ask for light level, ask for completions instead. "Must have X many completions in Oryx HM/NM" Don't worry about how someone else reached max light at the end of the day Raid gear has higher stats than other gear out there, at least the raid gear I got seems to have higher stats than any other gear I have compared to it, to the point I can have T5 Intellect and Dicipline and T1 strength. Im sure if I run Oryx HM a couple of times I can have T2 strength. Not sure if I got off track, but that's my take on it.

14 답변That was the point of the update. To be able to get to max level easier, and not have to raid in order to get there. Too many casual players out there that suffered and ended up leaving...

7 답변I like that I can do it by myself, I don't have a lot of time or a team anymore and I don't like letting people down when I have to quit raids or cut farming runs short for whatever reason

2 답변I still haven't reach 335 on a single character and I've been playing TTK for over a month now. Between work and sleep there isn't much time to play. Add the fact that I'm American and half my clan are Australian... It's difficult to get a group together for raids or Challenge of Elders. I'm just patiently waiting for the next Iron Banner. At least I can do that solo. And I refuse to use LFG again. Tried it back in the VoG days... *cringes* Never again!

3 답변You should only be able to hit 325-330 with normal activities. You can't hit 335 without raid/nightfall/trials.

2 답변작성자: Jewf_Goldblumkin 5/12/2016 6:12:10 PMWhat I read was "I want to be higher light than everybody because the way I got mine was harder so I'm more legit and I'm an elitist snob. And they don't deserve to be 335 because they used alternative methods to get theirs!"
ok...I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. It's just....you never call me anymore or stop by....you used to hold my hand.
1 답변This is so far the best system for light leveling and customizing load outs without sacrificing 10-20 light. Unless you guys want to go back to loot cave 1.0

3 답변Sure all your gear may be 335, but does it have the perks you want? ~TheGreatNike

Makes me wonder if i still dont understand Bungies philosophy with Destiny or the best way to manage my time in terms of longevity. Is PvE truly worthless once rewards r maxed out and so has little replayability, as in, its not supposed to have replayability? That would leave me with PvP being the aspect of Destiny that keeps me playing all year round. Because even if u have everything u want in Destiny, if u continue to play PvP then u can always b fighting new opponents and playing with new folks.

1 답변I think Bungie s treating this as a reward for those that've stuck wth Destiny and a way to "get everyone on the same page" before the next expansion. Brought many back t the game, that's a good thing.

4 답변작성자: wart_13 5/12/2016 5:47:24 PMThe raid was too hard/team oriented at a time when people were deciding once and for all if destiny was going to be worth playing anymore. The taken king was the make or break point for a lot of us. Bungie saw numbers steadily drop and only a select few reaching max light. If this raid had come with vanilla it wouldn't have been a problem because of the numbers and enthusiasm the community had for this game. But it came after several disappointments. This new light system is a way for casuals and solos to get invested in the game, and maybe have a shot at completing the raid in a group of randoms. It is also a way for bungie to bolster hard mode raid completions (a metric of the success and popularity of this expansion. I would imagine that number means more to them than how many have reached max light. Disclaimer: this is almost purely speculation... Edit: ransoms-->randoms stupid auto correct.

1 답변Well I'm glad for it. All of my friends have long since bailed on Destiny. I've never completed a King's Fall raid. After my experiences with lfg during the Crota era, I vowed never again. So as a mostly solo player, I've had limited ways to advance. I don't care about skill tiers. I don't care if a noob has max light. I don't care if unskilled players can get top-tier gear. I care about me and my progress. There are still plenty of weapons and armor we miss out on by not being able or willing to raid or play trials. Why damn US on light level as well?

1 답변I've tried doing the KF raid but it seems like every time I get to a certain part everyone is tired or wants to finish later I've gotten to war priest 3 times then to go geothermal or how every you spell it then everyone starts leaving so I've decided to just stay out of raids maybe one day I will try again.

1 답변People complain about being forever 29, 33.5, and 319 so finally they make it easier to level up and people still complain....

2 답변It's mostly RNG. I could have been 335 a couple week ago but no activities would give me a 335 ghost. Finally got one last night. I'm almost at the point where if I swap the ghost to my other guardians they can be 335 as well. I worked hard for that level and I'm in no way a noob. Day 1 veteran here. I never even reached 320 pre April update. I was in the upper teens, but it was luck of the draw or if you had the folks to raid with that determined if you could reach that magic number or not. Not so any longer. The paths are many, but still require work. I like the change and welcome the other high light level guardians. Makes team work on the difficult activities that much easier and levels out the playing field in IB & Trials.

I don't necessarily want to go back to Year 1 light levels, and Year 2 light levels pre-Spring update were too limiting. At the same time, I've hit 333 on one character and 332 on two characters without even trying, not one raid or ToO. I think that's too easy. I do like that they diversified the path to cap though. You now have choices on how you want to get there. I bet the difference between 334 and 335 will be a bigger struggle than 320 and 330, but still not enough. In a week or two I'm going to hit 335, then spend a couple of weeks getting my alternate items up to 335...and then wait 3 months for new content? Yikes. I have to admit I'm dragging my heels a little bit on capping.

I think this is how Bungie like's their game to flow. When the game first came out, getting to 30 took a ton of time and patience. Then, CE came out, and getting to 32 was hella easy. Then, HoW came out, and I think I got to 34 within the first week (got there on all three characters within the first two weeks). Then, it all started over with TTK, now it's a little easier with the update, etc.

Level really doesn't mean crap in Destiny. I beat KF Hard at 312 or there about, so what exactly was the point of getting to 320? So I can beat it again, just a little easier? I wish they'd stop using Light Level as a handicap in end-game content because it only proves that they can't make the game hard when it's actually fair.

What's so special about the raid...doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over....well you get the message. It gets very boring very quickly for lots of gamers. At least there is a bit of variety now to reach the highest light level.I for one don't enjoy raiding much at all..I do them then that's it for me.Finding time to raid is difficult for me.
-
But you're also all for having brackets of people who are "better" or more "1337" than others. Why not be ok with everyone having the opportunity to enjoy the game. We get it. Your raid gear is still the coolest. You're awesome. That's cool. But really...in the end...who cares. There are many factors outside of skill that keep people from being able to do the raid, not to mention the one where they feel they'll be scrutinized for not having done it, their ability to do it, or their current accomplishments in game IF they're even accepted into a party). Just...chill. Let people enjoy Destiny too *sighs*

10 답변What separates the great from the good is grimoire Light lv is a right to attain - beating levels are earned through humility and practice teamwork and patience . It's bad enough that raids are not match made - this alone is a major reason why ppl don't know what's going on . You have to play a raid or watch a raid to know how to do it ... You need a team to even attempt ... The fact that teams are not match made for raids is what's wrong with destiny right now. Also in order to give people a clue as to what to do to work the mechanics of each raid - each portion of the raid should come with a written hint of what the damn objective in each room is .

Think about it like this. Yes they are inexperienced when it comes to the raid, but with a max light level they at least have some buffer to make mistakes since they will be outputting max damage. If nothing else this just means a little more communication upfront and knowing who needs a walkthrough and who doesnt. Plus to get to that level without running the raid constantly means a pretty decent grind on their part. They aren't lazy or lacking, they just haven't had the chance to run the raid. Give them a chance to fail before you chastise them. They may just surprise you.
