Okay so I'm here to talk about how easy they have made it for people that can't even complete the raid to still reach light lvl 335.
For example you could be on the losing team of Iron Banner and still get a 335 drop
You could farm strikes with 3 of coin and get 335 pulls from your exotic engrams
You could do the sigil and get 335 drops
All the stuff named above is way to easy to do, so I don't think they should drop 335
I miss year 1 when we had to have 3 of the same character to try and get full raid gear in which would also raise you to max light, you could only reach max light by having full raid gear
It kinda put everyone in a bracket
I'm all for everyone having fun and enjoying games , but I'm sick and tired of doing Kings Fall hard mode and getting 330s that don't even know what the 4th knight is in the raid
What's you guys opinion on this topic?
Should it be easy to reach 335? Or should there be something that separates the great from the good?
if you are gonna be immature don't comment, looking for mature responses only
Thanks for all the feedback, I've been enlightened on many things I over looked thanks to all the mature peaceful responses I've received!
You guys are great!
Edit 1: okay so if you are gonna trash talk DO NOT COMMENT, this post is for mature discussion on a matter of opinion involving achieving max light level, I will report for any condescending comments or trash talk BE MATURE
Edit 2: IM NOT SAYING LIGHT LEVEL IS YOUR SKILL LEVEL, IM SAYING IT SHOULD!

The only players who would complain about this are the loser special snowflake children who can only feel bigger than others in a video game. I say that I hope ALL of you obtain ALL max leveled gear so we can have fun killing stupid aliens together! :-)

I like all the ways to hit 335, the clan I was in quit this game and I couldn't get a raid done to save my soul (i don't use or like lfg apps ) this update brought me back after a six month break, and besides it's nice being able to play how and what you want to hit max light instead of being forced to play only raids and ToO , it adds variety which this game definitely needs.

I don't get why there is so much elitism in this game. Sure, someone may be useless and yet still manage to get to 335 but that's a different issue to being useless in hard raids. Just don't play with them if you're not happy with their skills. If someone lies about their experience they deserve to be kicked, but the only way they'll actually learn and get good is to have some support from good players. The most rewarding experiences I get from this game are when players of all skill levels band together and get it done. The guys teaching are the ones that get my respect streets ahead of the self declared 'best' who often happen to be self aggrandising asshats.

Quite a new player here. I have 3 335s. And I was 319/318/318 pre update. I started late february of this year. And its all too easy. The raid is easy. Any pve content is easy. Gaining light is easy. The only challenge part of this game I think is trials. But I like the fact that causels are able to get a chance In the raids. Before the update people wouldn't even think of taking a low light. Now that they have a higher light its not as terrible as having a low light its easier teaching.
i helped in a normal raid of 2 330 who never did the raid. Just take some time to teach people. 5 attempts if they dont get it in 5 then kick them.
My advice for casuals who have a high light and want to go right into the hard raid. Don't. Do the normal. Practice. And before you go into the hard let the team know your new to the hard raid if they don't know they won't help and will just get mad at you and kick you. But just expect to be kicked after 5 attempts. Communicate. Let them know where your messing up.

4 답변작성자: CreativeSteve 5/13/2016 8:03:47 PMWhile I see your point. Personally I am happy with the many routes to 335. I am a PvE player that doesn't always get on long enough to do raids and it annoyed me in year 1 that I couldn't achieve max level with out it or be forced to do iron banner to get there (not really liking pvp much this was a personal annoyance). The way I see it everyone should be allowed to achieve the highest possible level. There should not be anything preventing that. However there needs to be a way to determine what people are capable of doing that is why you have the recommended light levels. I think what's also needed is that there are restrictions on raids say for example in order to do the hard mode raid you need to have completed it on normal at least 5 times or something. You can't just go straight to it. Also maybe with newer raids they can only be entered if the previous ones have been completed first. For example; Complete Vog normal 5 times to access Vog hard mode. Once completed on hard Crota is unlocked. Complete crota normal 5 times to access crota hard mode. Once completed kingfall is unlocked Complete kings fall 5 times then unlock hard mode. Challenge mode is unlocked from here. Just my thoughts, that way the players should know what to do and have the full experience of how to do the activities. Or maybe have in game videos on how to complete the raids.

1 답변I'm guessing the majority of people hating on this post have three 335s with very little raid completions? Regardless, i agree with you OP

Does it even matter if you reach 335?? Im surprised people still do kings fall it's a waste of time. And to answer your question it's great bungie made different alternatives to reach max light instead of just doing some boring as raid all the time. I have more fun getting drops from crucible and vanguard packages than the raid. Let's be real here buddy you are wasting your time if you are still doing the raid

I think we should be able to have a section on everyone's profile where you can rate the raider and write a comment than you can see either they r gonna have good reviews Or none or be bad enough or annoying enough for someone to complain

2 답변What are you talking about? Most of what you said hasn't been true since Vanilla. In TDB, IB sold/dropped max level gear and NF dropped max level gear. In HoW, E-Light was not hard to come by. 34 PoE was fairly easy and offered E-Light. PoE 32 offered max level armor so even if you didn't/couldn't do 34 PoE you could still be max level after 4 weeks. Trials also offered it at 5 and 9 wins. In fact E-Light ws so common you could get up to 12 per week, or even 18 when IB rolled around. So during most of Y1, raiding was not a requirement to reaching level cap (remember the "fake 32s"?). TTK re-introduced the focus of raiding as being the means to level cap. And it failed miserably. Also take into account that raiding isn't the only "endgame" anymore, so why should it be considered the "path to level cap"?

and not every one is an every day grinder with only one game to play, for the casual player the time frame is just fine. those that are in a rush will get there faster. I play every day and all my toons sit at 332 with the movement of weapons. not every one should scab together randoms to make a ludicrously long run for a maybe drop in the raid. I play solo most except when I run the COE. I don't need the raid to advance. played with randoms left and right in the last Iron Banner and got rank 5 on all three. co-op is an option not mandatory for everything.

1 답변The raid is shit, so I'd rather not do it anyway. The raid isn't difficult, it's just not worth doing. The lack of elemental primaries or good weapons in general (besides the MG) make it not worth doing. Even if it was the only way to get that last 10 light to get to 335, I still wouldn't do it because 10 light does essentially nothing for you.

Even in the year one example, light didn't equate to skill. It's an elitist fantasy that someone in raid gear with high light ever knew how to raid just because of the gear they had. You're sick of raiding with inexperienced Guardians? Check for raid completions. You can do that. If you want an experienced raid team, be picky. No one is saying you shouldn't be. But closing off parts of the game to people who payed just as much money for it as you did is bogus, and the April Update fixed that.

8 답변You talk like a raid pro but only have 12 completions? lol If I was starting a raid group and you asked for an invite, I would automatically check your completions and wouldn't even consider you :/

작성자: MegamanSteve 5/13/2016 7:07:07 PMIm not sure how many people remember the first couple of Iron Banners, but back then if you lost you got nothing, this lead to people quiting mid-match at the slightest hint of losing, royally screwing whoever tried to stay and fight. Thats when they came up with medallions. Point being Bungie has to give a reason for everyone to keep playing, not just the people who win, in the end its a game and meant to be fun. Its not fun to spend hours in Iron Banner or a Raid and have nothing to show for it. Even if you lost you still invested time and in a game thats about the grind you want something to show for it or your not going to keep playing.

1 답변A loot based game shouldn't have the endgame being getting to the highest level. It's should be about getting gear with perfect perks that fit your build
