I realize that you can still play the year one raids/strikes but why are they still dropping the low level gear? Why can't they drop year two gear?
I am just curious. I liked the old raids but there is no point in playing them really now loot wise. Sorry for ranting.

No MMO can hope to release one iteration of end game content and expect it to last a decent amount of time, which is why they slapped together Sparrow Racing and this April Update to try and placate us. The fact of the matter is that there should be a multitude of raids that ultimately lead us to the final raid in which we vanquish the big baddie, each raid dropping slightly better gear. In addition, the lesser raids can remain relevant by dropping certain armor sets, offering challenge modes that offer unique items, ships or weapons and allowing us to farm for raid specific currencies that allow us to purchase and unlock other goodies. The fact that we're all yearning for the other two raids to be relevant again is because of this. More raids need to be released in the future, because farming King's Fall week in and week out becomes boring very quickly.

If you get now then Bungie wont have anything else to give you till Destiny 2. Everything shouldve been brought foward to year 2 soon as TTk dropped. They purposely let the current content get super stale then they will drop "updated" year 1 content to make it seem new again.

1 답변Make the armor drop at 3 light and make them infusable. Take the burn off weapons or completely removed from the loot pool.

5 답변Crota would make no sense lore wise. VoG would, as the VoG is composed of multiple timelines, some where we succeed, others where we don't. So in theory we could keep going back forever because timelines.

1 답변They're still fun to do but all you care about is more ways to acquire relevant gear.

5 답변People can't cope with losing something they love. I would love crota and vog back, but to do that they would have to re make the story and spend a couple of months reprogramming the game, why make killing crota relevant again when we already killed him and that's what led us to oryx?

Honestly I've done those raids already. Have and kept what weapons I liked. It's over. New content is needed not MORE reskinned content. Come on man, don't give them bad ideas that suits their bank account and makes us suffer.

2 답변How many MMOs have you played? I'm guessing not many. But anyway, when a mmo gets an update the previous content is still there but almost irrelevant. You have a point since most mmos have a lot of content and destiny kind of lacks that.

6 답변Because it's a waste of time and effort to update something that has no relevance to the direction the game is going that could be better spent actually making new content?

작성자: GiveMeYourRage 5/14/2016 2:34:08 PMI like how people say leave them in year 1, just no...taken King was meant to be an expansion not a replacement (that's my opinion though) Also they brought back PoE so they can bring back vault and Crota, they brought Omnigul, valus, archon, dust palace and black garden to year 2 light so that means they could easily bring back ALL year 1 strikes...they just don't want to

I always thought that bungie could make at least challenge modes in the old raids. having both weapons and gear drop at 280 to infuse, and the elemental primaries would lose the elements for balance would be great. The challenges change every week like kings fall and be a great incentive for doing the raids for nostalgia and cosmetic. I mean I'm sure a ton of guardians like the Vog and CE raid gear and weapons.

8 답변Never got this complaint really. My vanilla WoW gear wouldn't be expected to be useful in Burning Crusade. Year one gear should only be used as a stepping stone toward new gear. Am I crazy for thinking this way?

작성자: zJDz 5/14/2016 8:40:27 AMThat would make their new content useless. Now that they made more ways to get to 335 I don't do kings fall anymore. Since the update I haven't done the raid and my characters are 332, 333, and 332. The ghost is the only thing that I can't seem to get 330+.

5 답변Because, every DLC is designed to kill off what you paid for previously. Hint: Don't buy destiny 2, you know from Bungies track record what to expect. 😡

3 답변I could program this in one afternoon. Open the designer click and drag slider from lvl 30 to lvl 42.....hit save...open up loot drops....replace perks (skill pallet) with year 2 perks...hit save.....VoG raid is done Repeat for CO But I do have a feeling that the fall update will do this. Just think about it why would Bungie release actual new content so close before releasing Destiny 2? It would make sense for them to rework the old raids and release them for the Xmas season.

3 답변Having Raids being updated to drop Year 2-tier gear would be a good way to keep raids relevant. Not everyone likes King's Fall.
