Hear me out! I would be willing to pay $59.99 to see what the original game was like. It would in no way change present or future of the franchise as we know it today.
Just sort of a side project after this falls expansion comes out because we wont have much to do anyways and that would mark the end destiny 1.
They could call it "Destiny, parallel universe".
If i got this i would shut up about cut content for ever and never bring it up again. What do you guys think?
Edit im talking about the game that was showed at 2013 e3

They would have to make it in order to release it. The game part wasn't finished, what was done got reworked into the new story and what wasn't finished in time got saved for DLC. Likely all that remains of the original game is the supercut, and by all accounts it was incredibly linear and campy so probably for the best it never sees the light of day. If what you really want is a better story then with any luck that's what we will get with Destiny 2, they've recruited the writer behind ME: Andromeda and Halo 4, so at the very least it will be more coherent.

2 답변I think you'd be pretty disappointed. Going off of the most universally accepted "truth" of destiny's development, all the missions would generally be the same, crucible would be a shell of what it is, we wouldn't have the director, & the progression system would be.... weird. It would be cool to see Staten's super cut, but I wouldn't expect much from a story that Bungie decided to scrap entirely for the one we ended up with.

1 답변Yeah they are going to stand up brand new servers for us to play a beta version of the game. What a noob.

I'd just love to see the cutscenes that were thrown away (like the one with the Prince and the Warlock in the Cosmodrome, you know the one). And if Old Chicago was actually intended for Destiny 1 as an open area, not just a PVP map (which is totally possible). I'll call it now, if it shows up in the Destiny 2 it was definitely cut.

3 답변작성자: Whoppenheimer 5/11/2016 3:25:23 PMYou mean 2012 version? The Original Destiny was suppose to come out for last gen only but Activision was like no no no. Which the game was delayed and eventually scrapped because of Activision. If you don't believe me go look up Mary's court cases files and you will have the wonderful truth of Destiny

작성자: Doctor Electric 5/12/2016 5:09:52 AMTake off the rose tinted glasses, they don't make things better. Mind you, we only saw very few pieces of the actual game, so the game you would've gotten at E3 could've been anything. *shown at e3, showed is used differently: "I showed jimmy the car" or "At E3, they showed us".

1 답변You're mad haha. Beta was fun, but Vanilla Destiny around the loot cave era wasn't up to much. A bit work in progress still. You can just buy the original disc, but I know what you mean, it wouldn't be the same with all the current updates applied to get online.

18 답변You mean that 10 minutes of footage of them running around the divide and fighting a fallen walker? Pretty sure that's already in the game. Definitely not worth another $60.
-
7 답변2013 didn't even have more than a few clips and concept art you'd pay 60$ for concepts????
-
30 답변No. It was a cliche piece of crap from what we know of it, and it isn't worth salvaging. Just because Joseph Staten wrote the story, doesn't mean it was good. Stop being an idiot.

1 답변Hell yeah, I'm all for that. But the. We have the scary amalgamation that either has to be recalled or will forever sit on a lone dusty shelve overlooking the entire room.
