Shotgunning isn't "Easy": Anyone claiming this is a bit lost
Yes. Aiming the gun is easy
Yes. The range can be annoying
Yes. Almost anyone can use it effectively from day 1
But being a GOOD shotgunner isn't easy. Top tier shot gun players have immense skills in movement, pressuring opponents, and split second decision making.
I'm not defending shotgunners because I am one. Most people who know me, know that I snipe 99% of games. But it's kind of bullshit to discredit the skill set of another player.
I personally find using shotguns effectively very hard due to my passive nature, so when people make the statement that they take "no skill"... well I must just suck really bad. Right?
Watch the video, actually listen to my argument, then debate it all you want.

6 답변No there all easy all special weapons except side arms are easy and intuitive to use. I want to propose a challenge to this community to try playing 10 games with each with type of primary's not meta ones either. That's not easy but feels great when you win against snipers and shotys.

Agreed. Luminosity is a fkn monster shotgunner. Watch his stream, the way he cuts down angles and uses the triple jump to get in close and throw ppl off. Tips for shotgunning. Try to jump when you think an opponent is rushing through doors, only the best players know to watch above AND below, mix this with your slides. Use a triple tap jump to cut the gap between opponents, once you get this right it's difficult to counter. Use Party Crasher.

Agreed. Bottom line is that yes, anyone can use a shotgun and it is easy to get kills. Bottom line # 2 is that not everyone can completely dominate a match with a shotgun and there are absolutely varying degrees of shotgun skill.

9 답변Let's just say shotguns took a lot of skill to use. Would've they never made it to the number one killing weapon before shot pack was taken away and 1000ys was introduced? Would nearly everyone in rumble use one? There's no precision shooting involved. Its one shot up close. Even on BO3. The haymaker and Argus are point, shoot and kill. No precision needed.

4 답변Question , if shot gunning takes so much skill why is it the only weapon people rush with ? Why is it the dominant weapon in rumble ? Why is it you'll hardly see people rushing you with auto rifles and hand cannons ? Are they not close range weapons as well ? Or is it because none of those guns besides shotguns kill instantly ? .

I'm by no means elite, but even I can pick up a decent roll shotgun and go apeshit positive KD on a not too sniper - friendly map. I cannot pick-up a decent roll sniper and do the same. Heck I can't even pick up god roll primaries I've never used before and roll heads, nevermind specials like fusions or sidearms. I'm sorry but the learning curve for shotgunning is immensely smaller compared to [i]any[/i] of the other weapon classes.
