OK... rant time.. I hate to be the "git gud scrub" type of guy but for God's sake the amount of incompetent people in Kingsfall is astonishing.
LFG is full of light level snobs (both characters I play are 332 when I'm raiding)
But the funny thing is I've dragged sub 300 light first timers through hard raid that performed better than half the 330+ light snobs I find on LFG.
KINGSFALL IS MECHANIC BASED, LIGHT LEVEL MEANS NOTHING IF YOU CAN'T COUNT YOUR DAMMED PLATES OR WATCH A STUPID ASS TIMER
anyways... end rant.

I agree light level doesn't mean anything over skill level. I prefer skill over level. i have a friend "Cosmic Velosity" that is 333 - titan and he think's just cuz he has a higher light level means he is better. and im only 319 and when we play raid, strikes or crucible i end up pulling more weight then he does. He only plays 1 charter and thinks he's the best. I have 3 charters and my lowest light level is 311 warlock, then 315 Titan, then my main 319 Hunter.

I'm not good, but I love Destiny and play on a regular basis. My Hunter is 335, not because I'm good or skilled. I just got some high level gear cause I continue to play. I have completed the raid on normal with all 3 characters and have no desire to do it again on normal or hard unless the people that I am playing with have decent COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

4 답변Reason: Some of the 335 (or close) guardians were previously under light leveled and were not accepted in KF Hard and have finally achieved a light level that allows them to be accepted. Problem though is that they do not know the mechanics of the hard raid due to not being allowed (Light level, Spindle, Touch bigotry) to join hard mode raids in the past. Reality: many guardians doing hard mode for the first time and they need time and patience from veteran raiders to teach them.

3 답변I've got to say, when we usually bring in someone who's never done it before (we have a regular raid group usually) they have time and time again shown some of us up. Not causing any wipes, or minimal at the very least because of X mechanic. I think it's because they are trying not to mess up, while we're a little more laid back as we've done it quite a few times now. Still don't see why people are asking for 320+light for KFs...... It didn't get harder

Pair of boots away from 335, never done a raid, trials or even PoE higher than basic level. I bought this game to have fun and set myself a few goals, not to socialise, or brag about some illusionary "skill" And yes, I'm not particularly good at video games but then you can all check my stats and see that!

Light level doesn't have much to do with skill, and it shouldn't. (This is a game.) If you have a high light level it simply means you put in the time to get it. I am one piece of equipment short of having three characters at 335, and yet I am a below average player in all phases of the game. If you want a high light level, put in the time. Don't judge the quality of a player by their light level.

Bump. When we were still figuring out the KF blind, we had a 317 light guy join us in a normal raid. This was before the light cap raise, so 317 was fairly significant. Anyways, we normally leave two in the middle of the Totems start room to rocket the minions, but this guy INSISTED he could do it solo. We were all around mid 290's light, so we didn't argue. About 10 seconds after the round started, we heard "Guardian Down!!!!" followed by my groups asking "Who's dead? Who's down?" The guy never spoke another word.... Since then, I've completed KF and dragged light level 290's through Hard Mode Challenges to help boost up their light. Light level helps, but its not the end-all be-all if you do not understand the tactics/strategies for completing it. I rarely just pick up ANYONE off of LFG to do a raid. I prefer to take people who have never gone before so I can actually teach them how to do it properly before they develop bad habits. If they have a high light level, I simply tell them to check their pride at the door. The raid's a team effort and we all have our jobs to do.

3 답변Funny story about that. Did a random Kings fall the other day, this one guy in the group was 335. When we got to Oryx he demanded we did no knight. Thought it was a joke but he was dead serious. I didn't know that was still a thing, I thought that was dead. How the hell do you get this far and not be able to snipe a damn knight. After the first wipe I bounced.

3 답변True Last night I had a raid first. A ll 332 jumped off his platform too early at Oryx. It was the last ogre set, he was 3rd platform, ss warlock with his super. Still cannot understand what happened, all he had to -blam!-ing do was stay still as I had already killed all ogres from the middle before his knight even spawned. I don't mind inexperience, but don't stay quiet about it then -blam!- up at a crucial point, just be honest, the raid is super easy to learn. Ffs most of my group was 306 when we beat hard raid the 1st time, this whole 325-330+ bullshit is just unnecessary

2 답변Yep, 3 hours on oryx with light level 332/331/328 group. They were three friends. I don't know why I tried so long. They kept dying on plate 1, trying to kill 4th knight.

I understand what you're saying but, I have been a few times lately with fire-teams that are carrying someone, and for my surprise some of them are ladies, whom never disappoint me 'cause they are smart and don't distract so easily like us.... the Raid experience becomes interesting carrying Just One Person at a Time... after that, in my opinion, it becomes the real challenge!... but I see how easy is now for those whom know what to do and sometimes there is not much Patience and Time by the way!
