OK... rant time.. I hate to be the "git gud scrub" type of guy but for God's sake the amount of incompetent people in Kingsfall is astonishing.
LFG is full of light level snobs (both characters I play are 332 when I'm raiding)
But the funny thing is I've dragged sub 300 light first timers through hard raid that performed better than half the 330+ light snobs I find on LFG.
KINGSFALL IS MECHANIC BASED, LIGHT LEVEL MEANS NOTHING IF YOU CAN'T COUNT YOUR DAMMED PLATES OR WATCH A STUPID ASS TIMER
anyways... end rant.

Light level means practically nothing now with it being so easy to rank up , the first week of the April update I did oryx had ode for the fist time while I was 316 and my friend was 314 . It doesn't matter you light anymore it matters your skill

1 답변Had a 302 on the team today. He did half the damage we did, but he also killed adds very well(I'm talking about those damn acolyte eyes at oryx), didn't die often, and even took first gaze on golgoroth challenge. He was a testament to "learn the normal raid inside and out, then do hard." Ever since HoW people thought you could do raids like missions just because they were over leveled, but they can't handle MECHANICS! My rant is over now, I support you OP

This... Been this way for a while now, it's pot luck if you get into a decent team (only 1 or 2 wipes the whole raid), worst thing is giving people the opportunity to say that they need help understanding mechanics, and they stay silent. Wastes everyone's time. I'm happy to teach, but you have to let me know...

Of course light level does not automatically equal skill but it is ONE indicator of skill. Just like being level 30 in VoG, level 32 in TDB and level 34 in HoW doesn't automatically equal skill. KD, grimoire and completions are all possible indicators of skill but not necessarily equal to skill. Usually a combination can give you an idea but even then a player can be distracted, someone is playing on their account, and/or drunk/high (funny that some people play better in this state).

2 답변Lol yup. I find it so surprising when people ask "well how the hell do i know when i lose gaze?" Or "how will you know when you should run to middle?" I know its no big deal.. But seriously..

1 답변I always post " looking for experienced players". Could give two shits about what you pumped your light up to be. I'm not 335 but have done the raid 80 plus times.

11 답변You have 10 completions.... You haven't raided enough to know how a good group runs a raid.

I rather take experience over light level any day. Unless I'm doing Sherpa. I helped a friend do a hard mode raid for him so that he can get his light level up quick. So I logged into his account see that he's only a 304 hunter. Join a raid and completed it without dying (except for when the team wanted to wipe). In one raid I got him from 304 to 319.

That is true, HOWEVER, quite a lot of times people with high light level do have KF experience. I'm not encouraging elitism, but sometimes people wanna just get through the raid as quick as possible, hence the 330+ requirements. After I've hit 335 on my Titan though, I'd probably be more willing to help newer players through and would not care about a quick run as I have no incentive to grind anymore.
