OK... rant time.. I hate to be the "git gud scrub" type of guy but for God's sake the amount of incompetent people in Kingsfall is astonishing.
LFG is full of light level snobs (both characters I play are 332 when I'm raiding)
But the funny thing is I've dragged sub 300 light first timers through hard raid that performed better than half the 330+ light snobs I find on LFG.
KINGSFALL IS MECHANIC BASED, LIGHT LEVEL MEANS NOTHING IF YOU CAN'T COUNT YOUR DAMMED PLATES OR WATCH A STUPID ASS TIMER
anyways... end rant.

3 답변I agree that some people have ridiculous requirements for raids sometimes and how they raise the light level requirement just because the games light level increases. But having. Higher light does mean the player is more experienced so that's how I look at it.

It was easier to base someone's skill by their light level before this update, for the most part anyway. That's not to say that 320 meant everything then but with this update its too easy to level up. I had engrams stored and I went to 328 the day it was released just by decrypting them.

lol this is 100% why i don't play pve. elitist assclowns who will kick you if you are below 332. what if i don't want to spend hours shooting at a clueless AI over and over just to achieve a number that is even close to being on par with some neckbeard's LFG requirement? would much rather go play some crucible than experience that trash.

1 답변There's absolutely NO reason to be low light after the April Update. A solo player can run Prison of Elders and Court of Oryx to get to 330+. Also, Three of Coins will give abundant exotic engrams to decrypt for gear infusion. About raiding, Light Level does not matter coz I carry many 330+ but find it easier to run alongside sub 320s who are experienced. I enjoy teaching people the mechanics of the game though. I feel I know 90+ of all PvE mechanics as I always discover new stuff I'm quickly and gradually switching to PvP.

1 답변I wasn't aware Light level even mattered at this point. If you're 310 or above, you're set to do basically everything other than Trials.

Yeah I agree. Like I don't wanna be the asshole about it. I don't have a ton of time for Destiny, so I have lowish light level anyway. Hell I haven't even attempted Kings Fall yet. (Took a break from Destiny for a while.) So I've been getting back into things for a bit. Started grinding strikes (yes, strikes) for loot to level my titan up to have as an alternate character. I ran through some strikes the other night, had a great team, was like putting on an old glove again. Pretty sweet. Got on again the next night, and holy ball sack. Got two teammates that were lvl 330 and 325 or something like that. Figured it'd be a smooth run for my low level ass. No. Just, no. I honestly don't know what was going on. I should have kinda seen it when one guy got killed by regular adds early on (yes, in a strike) before any no respawn zone. Shrug. Then they acted like it was the first time they'd seen a Vex sniper before. Death after death after death. No one was isolating and shooting the row of snipers. I had to switch to a random sniper I had to clear the overhead. Ok. No big deal, right? Plenty of us get careless and get owned in the everyday grind. Then they got lost. (Yes. In. A. Strike. Keep their light lvl in mind). I had no more emogi's or well placed bullets to show them the cave we were supposed to go through. I was -blam!-ing standing in it dude. When "we" figured that out, minotaurs and captains finally did us in. Ok, this was ARCHON PRIEST. Archon Priest. Are we that far from year one? Didn't know where to go, never made it to the Hydras before I realized we were NOT going to ever beat the priest if we couldn't unlock the door. I had to drop out. I wasn't a dick or anything, I was trying to help. I switched to support class, popped them bubbles, stayed by their side, tried to get them on fireteam chat... I failed but I was speaking to them trying to tell them what was coming, where the best vantage points were, called out enemies flanking.... I couldn't man. I just couldn't. I can only deduce two things. Either they were just high as -blam!-, or had honestly never seen that strike before and were kindergaurdians. Either way, 330ish light level was ZERO help that night. I'm not an experienced raider by any means, but good god if you want THOSE lvl 330s on your team? You can have em, lfg.
