Petition to Get Rid of Three of Coins
Any of us dedicated year one players will remember just how rewarding it was to grind raids every week on all characters for the chance at a glorious exotic. And nothing felt better than getting one you had wanted for so long. With the introduction of three of coins, that is a feeling i have not felt. Three of coins makes the process of getting exotics feel like a legendary engram of old, it doesnt feel special to get an exotic engram, and decoding it with that blue bastard is one of the worst feelings in the game. Believe it or not i loved getting my gjallarhorn after 7 months of playing, best feeling ive ever had. We need that special feeling again.
Tl,dr: Exotics are supposed to feel special and so should getting them. 3oC makes it too easy to get exotics and knowing what category your item will be in makes it worse. REMOVE THREE OF COINS.
Edit: Thanks for all of the responses, i was thinking i was with the majority, but it's good to hear all your opinions.
Edit: Good points have been brought up, doing a change like this to the games current state would offset the balance, it would have to be implemented with the drop of fresh content.

2 답변If they dropped the infusion system I would agree. However exotics are the best infusion fuel for people who don't have the time to grind. I do miss those feelings from year 1 but the system is different now for better or for worse

1 답변I wouldn't like to see a solution implemented where they take more stuff away, there's already a glaring lack of new stuff. Why not add a load of new exotics that only drop when completing new missions that take ages, do certain stuff, things you have to work for etc. Add things to the game rather than take them away.

1 답변Actually, as a Y1 player, I disagree. I have yet to find raids rewarding, so 3oCs are actually a godsend

1 답변When there was no 3oc yeah it was more special to get exotics but it sucked not to be able to get your desired exotic like ghally yet others would get 5 ghallys while some never got one , rng not always good , so it's good to increase your chances with 3oc and xur for those who luck in rng is bad

Unless vendor packages are gonna start producing over 330 gear or drop artifacts, I'm sorta forced to use exotics as infusion fuel. Worse, exotics won't drop artifacts and I don't have any antiquated ruins, so the closest I'll probably get is 334 for a long while, but that's ok. I'm not too pressed. A lot of people complain about 3oC devaluing exotics because it's easy to get exotics now. This doesn't include, though, people who couldn't give a crap about the exotic but rather use it for infusion. If you wanna keep your exotics so precious, then petition to have bungie change 3oC to drop infusion orbs rather than exotics, make packages give max light gear, or have legenday engrams ALWAYS be a higher light similar to exotic engrams. Unfortunately, for many people, these exotic engrams is a progression path. Tbh, imo, denying many people a path of progression for the sentimentality of making exotics feel precious isn't a good enough reason. Use logic over emotion and sentimentality. 3oC and exotic engrams are consumable resources now. Such is life.

3 답변No thanks. I feel that the grind is excessive even with 3oCs. In a game where the content gets stale and boring as fast as this one, excessive grind is a killer. If it was for me, i would decrease the RNG drop rate factor from them. Make them a guaranteed drop after using 10, with a chance of getting a drop before that. Also i would make them a strike exclusive use item. That way they can include strike exclusives weapons/gear as part of loot drop from 3oCs. Raid, nightfall and ToO already have their own exotic drop area so they can live without 3oCs there. This game revolves too much on RNG. Normally this would be a good thing but, the RGN reward system is this game is broken. On a side note, Bungie seriously needs to increase the drop rate of sublime engrams. Right now is almost non-existent.

Id like that too! Exotics used to be great to get and sometimes you'd see someone with that rare one you're after! Now there's no chase! Ruined all on the sake of casual gamers that play for 10 minutes and want rewards!
