How to reach 335.
I need some advice on hitting destiny's new light cap. I'm 314 but it looks to be an insanely slow grind to 335. No legendary engrams give me 300+ items, and i've given up hope on exotic engrams, considering i just got my 5th Monte carlo (4th in a row) and i am continuously bagging dupes or armour for my warlock or titan. I have just done my sigil, with a 319 fusion and 320 ugly legs with inc rocket ammo perk. I can only get 2 pieces of decent gear a week, from my sigil, and i don't have a mic for the raid, so is there any other way to hit max light?

Even those dupe exotics are good. If you are wearing your absolute highest light gear when you decrypt exotic engrams it will *usually* be a higher light level than what you have. Use your highest level character to decrypt everything. When that character gets a higher level dupe exotic, then pass the lower level exotic to another character for infusion... Court of oryx can drop up to 335 artifacts. Do the Prison of Elders sigil... Preferably on all three characters if you are trying to level as quickly as possible. Level your factions. Everything all the fine guardians said before me. :-)

Mic should've came wit the console. There are cheap mics around $20 that are descent. Join a clan. The clan should be willing to help its members. There are people on the lfg and forums willing using individuals without mics for normal raids which if u do the challenge modes every week. U will be 320 in no time then it's a lot easier to reach 335. Start hosting normal raids.
