Should Invaders Gank? DS3
So I was outside Pontiff when I get invaded by 2 Aldrich Faithfuls.
I engaged one while the other sat and watched. Halfway through tho he jumped up and attacked me as I was in a 1 v 1 duel.
Is this acceptable?

That's the way I do it. Double teaming some poor host just doesn't feel right. Especially considering most players aren't all too good at PVP. It's only right to let them have a fair duel. [spoiler]Unless the host is a filthy ganker.[/spoiler]

Sure, it's acceptable. Lots and lots of people hate when that happens, but it's an 'all is fair in love and war' kinda thing. Everyone loves playing online, maybe cooping, and everyone loves running around kindled, but it's sorta like the price you pay are the invasions. In covenant protected areas, this can lead to some seriously disadvantageous encounters, often with you having no way of actually winning. Sometimes I love getting invaded, and it can be even more fun when I'm cooping with a buddy or two and we just hang out in a contested area sending folks packing back to their world one after the other. Then again, there are also times when I just plain don't feel like dealing with invasions and just wanna progress through and explore without being interrupted. I'm just glad that the option is there to play offline or go unkindled if that's what I'm in the mood for. Invaders have it just as bad if not worse. They can easily spawn in and get completely wrecked by a buncha players just waiting around to gank them, but that's the risk they take as well.

There are no rules. You can have as many make believe rules as you like but the only person they matter to is you. People invading you don't give a shit what rules you've made up, they are just there to kill you. If it's an organised duel then people tend to stick to certain rules but during invasions, anything goes.

2 답변Anything goes with invasions. The area you are in is one of the few places a host might be outnumbered. Those guys were there for the dregs, so expect anything. Only red summon signs have dueling rules that are expected to be followed.

It's natural for both to gank. However if one sat and waited for a opportunity then that's dirty. If they both charged it's fair but I've had tricks where it seems like a duel but right before the phantom dies the host comes in to save his a ss. I always crystal out of those
