Your children come first, as in you sacrifice them first, or they are put above your significant other?

Lol I would always protect my children first. My wife would do the same. We both know how much we love each other. We want our children to have the chance of a long and happy life. Which is why we would do anything to protect our children first in any type of harm. Don't let that make you think that we don't love each other. We just love each other so much that our relationship and love will never be in question, so we can put our love towards our children. I never considered how I would explain this before, so forgive me if my words are jumbled a bit.
