1 답변Are you kidding it's obviously gjally, you can not even compare the two. There will never be a better weapon than the gjally in it's prime.

6 답변작성자: iStevoEvo 5/3/2016 4:02:36 AMAll Year 1 weapons were wonderful. They all felt overpowered in some way. Fatebringer Black Hammer Gjallarhorn Suros Regime Shadow Price Vision of Confluence Praedyth's Revenge Thorn Found Verdict I do admit that the weapon balancing is great now. I see such a wide array of weapons being used throughout different game modes. But the feeling of getting these weapons, especially Gjallarhorn was amazing.

4 답변The gjallarhorn was so powerful it defeated the following with very little effort. PvE Adds
A guardian could shoot a major with the main rocket and let the wolfpack rounds take care of the rest.
PvE Bosses
Use big weapons on big bosses, am I right?!
Our own inventory...
With a fatebringer, black hammer, and ghorn nothing else was needed for pve. Other exotics just weren't as dominant even though they were good. Buffed Bad Juju? Who needs more super when you can have more rockets.
The community
Destiny's most coveted exotic became the admission fee to nightfalls and raids. I even lied to a group of raiders that I didn't have one yet despite having two. They told me I was trash and needed to learn Destiny 101. Then I equipped it and they told me to join the group. People even doubted their own player skill if Ghorn wasn't in their inventory. The community became worse.
Xur
I'd never heard of a difference between earning and "xurning" an item. I didn't think it mattered when quests were provided for very specific exotics and others could be found in the wild. Xurners were frowned upon lol. As though one ghorn is weaker than another.
Bungie
In the same week it became available to the world, it also died. I know many are still salty about that.
I hated it long before then. I realized it made me worse and long before its death I embraced other loadouts in higher level content and welcomed my friends to do the same. We felt happier and skillful overall. Moreso, our loadouts became specialized to our individual needs. Sleeper is powerful and provides the thrill of fusion rifle timing with a punch greater than rocket launchers in general. Props to the sound designing team for the revving up effects followed by that high pitch ring upon firing. It is satisfying. I love Sleeper Sim and as a Sunsinger, it is one of the most fun ways of generating orbs from across a stage. I am the 10%.

작성자: xH0UNDx 5/3/2016 2:34:35 AMGjallarhorn. Hands down. Not just because it melted everything in sight in Y1, but because it truly was an achievement to get it to drop. Sleeper is a good heavy and I still use mine, but getting it pales in comparison to the preadolescent screeching that accompanied a Gjallarhorn drop.

There's a reason only 10% of people responded sleeper. If you werent yr 1 you dont understand. A single weapon that demolished all in one or 3 rockets and held 7. It was a weapon most people swore did solar and arc damage cause of how insane the wolfpack tracking rds devastated. People drew sparrows and built guns around the idea of the gjallerhorn, some people farmed for months to no avail while some destroyed their consoles when theyd help a noob through a nightfall or raid and theyd get it and not even know what it was, asking if it was any good. I bought mine day one xur was selling it and i laughed at my friends who told me i was dumb for buying an exotic for my heavy slot. Every nightfall for week i was getting invited to back to back nightfalls and raids. It was the great equalizer and the reason for playing. No yr 2 noobs will ever comprehend.

For the sake of this comparison, I'd say Gjallarhorn. It would usually out-damage every other heavy back in year one, even if the burn wasn't solar, and wouldn't have to be focused on a single target. That said, I'm finding the Sleeper Simulant very charming. There's something about lining up your shot, waiting for the charge, and successfully nailing high health targets in their critical spot. And with the recent changes to how much heavy ammo you can carry, it's my heavy of choice these days. If Gjallarhorn was up to current damage levels, it would still be a hard choice for me.

1 답변Ironically, the post you refer to was just to try to describe Gjally to new players. Then someone comments sleeper>Gjallarhorn and the shitshow started. I tried to stay calm, but eventually I lost it on the guy too. Trying to define 'better' proved impossible. Sleeper will do more damage. But Gjally was....Gjallarhorn. That's why it was better. And neither side would be swayed. Either you love it or you don't.
