It's because the strikes aren't fun. In year one when I heard what strike it was I'd go "Oh yay I love this one!" now for a majority of them I just say "ugh I almost wanna quit this one as well."

There's only so many times you can kill the psion flayers in a row before you feel like you might actually be in a vex simulation.

This is where Bungie screwed up. Strike specific loot is cool and all, but I kinda thought that's one of the reasons why we have raids. Unique looking gear instead of reskinned vendor gear. Now to add to that, they thought adding a specific piece of loot to a specific strike that must have a specific modifier on (Taken), while hoping it pops up in the Heroic Strike list only, would be a good idea. I love Bungie, but good lord this was their biggest mistake. You can go to the designated strike you want like Will of Omnigul and get your specific loot. That's okay. Now you have the Winter's Run strike, which must be accessed through the Heroic Strike list, and hope you get it with the Taken modifier. Not okay. Granted this is sounding a bit like a broken record, but really I can't reiterate or stress enough how flawed idea behind strike specific loot is, especially when that said loot is gated behind so many RNG factors. I am the player that will stay and finish the strike, but I'm probably not gonna enjoy it, especially when it's The Undying Mind for the umpteenth time.

if you want that to stop, get a fireteam together, play with friends and or join a clan and play with them.. the wild is full of selfish people, those same people who take heavy before the team gathers around, who use mcdonald wifi etc.. they just don't give a shit about you and making a few posts won't change that.. what will change is if we all leave them to play amongst themselves while the guardians with honor play together.. see how those others change there tune and want help after than.

I RARELY quit strikes. I also don't care for having to bail on a streak when it does become necessary. Doing that sucks. I will say this though... After you send me a check for the total amount that I have spent on this game and it clears my account then I will play the way YOU want me to play. This is not a job, it is a video game that is meant to be enjoyed. If I am not enjoying a particular part, I'm going to play a different part. On the rare occasion that I do bail on a strike, I have my reasons.

To the morons complaining about leaving strikes because the rotation is random and they don't want to play certain strikes, you know you can get the same rewards from selecting the strike from the director right...? Also, the increased difficulty does not increase strike specific drop rate unless it's the nightfall. The vanguard streak increases drop rates for strike specific loot as well, so why would you leave?

Quite funny last night. I probably played like 6 to 9 strikes in a row with randoms that stayed the whole time. Went to bathroom and noticed time (3 in the morning) and that the other 2 left. Missed leaving before next strike started. Strike started and one dude pulls out ghost and leaves. Then i did to get sleep. While readying for bed get message laced with swears from one left behind and full of insults for leaving. Reported the kid for messages to microsoft. Today hop on late afternoon and had message from microsoft saying action was taken against recent reported player and to keep up good work. Moral- dont be a child about people leaving and sent hate, because microsoft/ sony are FAR worse on things like this than bungie.
