3 답변Too confusing. I find it annoying when fanboys go "Gaaahh! Why didn't they put Darth Vixiquezalotal in the Force Awakens! He was the most powaful Sith ever! He did so much cool stuff! And what about this cool bounty hunter!!!11!" People don't understand the EU. I don't. I don't care. The audience don't care. If they had established an EU villain, with all his plot armour powers in place, TFA would have been crap. Audiences would have said, "What the -blam!- was the stupid character who made 0 sense" and J J Abrams would have had to say "Oh, go read this obscure EU book."

7 답변I can think of two reasons. 1. It allows a blank slate so Disney can make any movie without being constrained by the books that previously established a universe. 2. Casual fans or new fans can be brought in without confusion, thus more money. Personally I hate it. They alienated hardcore fans. If they kept a few characters from the eu it would have been a better transition.

2 답변작성자: ClusiveC 4/30/2016 3:57:28 AMBecause Disney is retarded and doesn't understand that the EU is what kept Star Wars alive when the only "canon" shit was three movies that nobody liked and another trio of movies that are so old, plain and stale that nobody was honestly going to willingly sit through them again.
