Edit:
Shoulder charge needs a cool down; Like flame shield got.
Titans only whine. That's all I see, that's why you babies got TG and other useful exotics that are better than the classes they're stolen from. Shut up, don't ask for self resurrection because for a tank to get that it doesn't make sense

Also it's not a melee charge it's a perk that you select in the last column which your sacrificing unstoppable and juggernaut for you can't pick both unless you have eternal war helm so your idea would make shoulder charge damn near useless
-
Didn't read the whole post skimmed it a bit, but if you have ever played with shoulder charge you would know that after you shoulder charge you actually have to wait a bit because your sprint would glitch out and on top of that you will get shotgunned every time no matter how soon you try to hit someone

2 답변Sorry but I find it hard to take your opinion objectively when you don't even have a Titan, you don't know how unreliable it is 75% of the time, it's easy to counter every class can counter it if you pay attention to your radar, and having a cool down would render it pointless considering you have to sprint for a good chunk of time just to "charge" it.

Alright, well, let's break it down then. You say it needs a melee cooldown? That means that Bungie would likely need to move it to the melee section. Or best case, have it be an enhancement for the melee, meaning you get the effects of both Shoulder Charge and whatever melee ability you're using activating at the same time when it makes contact. If you think Shoulder Charge is annoying now, just imagine that combination. If they go with the former, moving it to the melee section, that means they need to put a new perk in its previous spot, which wouldn't matter anyway because every Titan would be using Unstoppable or Juggernaut along with it. Not to mention having 2 melee charges from An Insurmountable Skullfort, and likely having the sprinting requirement removed. Still want it to have a melee cooldown? And besides, it actually does have a cooldown period where it won't activate, just as other abilities like Blink and Shadestep do, after consecutive uses. You'd know this if you actually used it yourself.

4 답변Shoulder Charge already has a cooldown, mate. It requires you to have been sprinting for at least 3 seconds for it to even ramp up, and usually by that point you're either already dead, or you die before you can eve connect with someone (fusion/shotgun/super). I mean, I've played a Striker since the Beta, but I've almost never personally used shoulder charge because I don't like how it's only useful for killing people melee, but puts you at risk more often than not. Flame Shield grants more damage, an overshield and a potential DoT, and has pretty incredible range, and doesn't require you to put yourself in harms way to utilize it. Shoulder Charge grants more damage, no overshield and no defensive mechanisms, you can miss, not kill an over-max armour titan, die before you connect or die while you're sprinting.

1 답변If they nerf that then they have to nerf hmmm where to start? Every other melee and all the grenades, and every gun - shit let's get on several of those armor pieces while we're at it. They haven't had a nerf in a while

2 답변The problem is prediction and counterattack. It is difficult to predict in what way a Charger will come at you; remember that Shoulder Charge grants a large degree of freedom in terms of where you were vertically when you charged. On the other hand, as a player using his primary/and secondary other than a shotgun you have very little time to react, which is often less then effective. That said, the only weapon with the kind of speed, impact and freedom of use despite being in the air/around a corner is a shotgun. Herein lies the problem; the only counter to Shoulder Charge is a Shotgun, and the only counter to a Shotgun is a Shotgun (Fusions, although useful, do not have the speed of fire to stop a rusher). Something should be done to radar during sprinting/jumping/other movement (Shadestep, Twilight Garrison, ect...) to reduce the predictive capabilities of rushers and even the fight for more defensive play.

Psh. Opinion noted. Maybe address literally everything else you perceive as needing a fix to be fair? I hope you have not forgotten firebolts, wombo combo, blink strike, and half the perks in game? If you were not biased, you would have made the informed conclusion that, well wow, everything kinda balances everything out! So no. Its bothersome to read about opinions that have no backing other than what the originator personally and arbitrarily feels. At this point, just grab a shotgun if it bothers you too much. Honestly, my fusion rifle can take care of the buggers quite nicely.

4 답변No, It doesn't. You just need to not stand right in front of the guy sprinting right at you with a streamline effect. If by chance you are a shot gunner. Best learn to juke the bull because you play with the bull, you best expect the horns.
