I made a promise to my dying (now deceased) mother. I need to get the attention of someone at bungie to even make this promise somewhat possible. So please help me by tweeting @DeeJ_BNG and asking him to check @nathanpashia_4 I need a way to communicate with DeeJ or bungie. The promise that I made to her is that there would be something in destiny that would immortalize her. Whether it be a gun or a piece of armor, even a quote that someone says. I just want to keep this promise, no matter the odds.
R.I.P Your mom.
When i first read your post, my reaction was...why this person asked this kind of nonsense. Somehow when i sit down at my desk and think again about your post. I raise a question in my mind : Is playing video game some kind of a spiritual activity. Despite all the negatives about video game such as health issue, time wasted....etc, i have to admit that playing a game is living in another world. All the emotions are like so real and if emotions are so real...could that affect our spirits. Destiny was my first ever MMRPG and i started playing as a solo playing...a lone wolf in Patrol, a devotee for Strike...really never had a friend to play with and but with the time, I've got some friends even though sometimes, they are kids, they are adults with foul language but i am still myself in a world of my own.
With my thoughts about your post and memory of playing Destiny, I suddenly realize that your promise is not totally absurd. It's a better world (virtual one) in there you will continue to see your mom. Probably she did not play game with you but she was there for you. And now with tears subsides, you want to find your peace with a promise. A promise that you will step in Destiny to see her and not to lose your way in real life.
Bungie might not be able to help you on this but you have done something irrationally nice.
Good luck bloodfang,
