Dungeons and Dragons - the original, and yep, the one with pencil, paper, and dice.
Played video games here and there throughout childhood, but never serious enough to be considered a gamer. D&D hooked me pretty hard about age 12 or so. Hung out with my pothead uncle and his HS friends while they played, and they let me play too. From there, I got crazy into games like Zelda, Everquest, then PC games like WoW for about a decade. Got into loads of mmorpgs, fps, horror, adventure games - you name it. Eventually stopped being a PC gamer and went strictly console. Dark Souls, Borderlands, Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect were some of the first games that really got me hooked into console gaming.
Depends.
The first game I played was Gorilla.bas but I was only a kid.
Then I got games like Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country on SNES, which I played the shit out of.
But I didn't really play games as I got older, until Halo came out. Since then I've been an avid gamer.
I started on super mario which got me interested in video games, but id only play here and there. the games that made me love playing games would have to be a mix of jak and daxter, as well as ratchet and clank tho.
