Where are all those "The Division is going to kill Destiny" clowns now?
First things first - I liked The Division a lot. Especially as an alternative to Destiny during its great Content Drought of 2016. The new Destiny update has brought me and others back and while the update is really just a facelift, I think Bungie did a nice job with it.
By comparison though - The Division has been broken as F. Unless you were exploiting the various glitches ad naseum, you can't step into the DZ without getting gang banged and one shotted. Considering how long the division was in development I'm amazed so many exploits existed and were not addressed prior to release. That said, the problems with the division will take a lot of work and creativity to solve. Even at its worst destiny was never this broken.
In the end, the experience with the division taught me to appreciate bungie a little more and to recognize how hard it is to make a perfect game.

4 답변I played the Division up until this month's update. They completely ruined the whole crafting aspect, and added unnecessary grind to an all ready grindy game. It's either die a legit player, or live long enough to see yourself become a cheater. That's the Division.

2 답변Well as far as posts go...they are moved to #gaming pretty fast(this one is only here cause of PR and puts Destiny above Division, every other one seems to be moved fast) I play both games, it's not hard really and no disk swapping with both games on my HD For for some players they have moved over to Ubis forums, some are pissed at Incursion glitches and DZ issues from that others are actively looking for groups and playing the game and providing Constructive Criticism if you look around more) Destiny has had close to 2 years to fix their bugs and glitches(some are still in the game like the Sprint Bug that's has been around since Alpha/Beta) but seem to fall short on a stable leveling/progression system and economy even after this time Divisions biggest issue(not counting PC Hacks as those are specific to one version only) now is DZ players running around with insane damage input/output due to Incursion glitch, but unlike Destiny... You can outgear players in PVP areas...just think what Crucible would be like if level/light mattered but on a larger scale Again, I enjoy both games and have found a way to play both with little issue, I just pity all the people who want to see either game fail...these people obviously do not understand that competition is good for both Devs and will only cause them to get better [spoiler]I also think that give Ubi/Massive the same time invested after launch and Division will be in a better state...Destiny is pushing 2 years vs Divisions few months[/spoiler]

The bad part is no matter what content they come out with I still would not be interested in playing it again. Destiny on the other hand can drop new content and players will always flock back, no matter how long ago the release date was

Division is well and truly fvcked. I'm not touching it until it's fixed. I'm sick of getting screwed over by everything every time I play. There's no communication with the devs to tell us what is going on, everyone is just left hanging there waiting for them to fix their game

23 답변Destiny was dead way before the division even released, with all the new upcoming games coming soon and with bungie basically stringing along the last few idiots to milk them for silver sales destinys future is far from bright. Honestly the best thing for people to do is stop backing this microtransaction cash grab and wait for destiny 2. Even bungie have quit on year 2 and are concentrating on destiny 2.

4 답변I had big hopes for the division. But after the beta I decided not to buy it simply due to the sluggish game play. Felt like a poor made gears of war.
