Where are all those "The Division is going to kill Destiny" clowns now?
First things first - I liked The Division a lot. Especially as an alternative to Destiny during its great Content Drought of 2016. The new Destiny update has brought me and others back and while the update is really just a facelift, I think Bungie did a nice job with it.
By comparison though - The Division has been broken as F. Unless you were exploiting the various glitches ad naseum, you can't step into the DZ without getting gang banged and one shotted. Considering how long the division was in development I'm amazed so many exploits existed and were not addressed prior to release. That said, the problems with the division will take a lot of work and creativity to solve. Even at its worst destiny was never this broken.
In the end, the experience with the division taught me to appreciate bungie a little more and to recognize how hard it is to make a perfect game.

1 답변Say what you want, but they have been incredibly responsive to the larger bugs and they have a community manager that is always out front. Deej could learn a lot from Hamish Bode. I still love both games and the division is a little bit of a mess right now but I think massive will pull it together and keep a comprable product

51 답변LoL at calling another game broken while on a Destiny forum. Guess you forgot about pushing Atheon off the ledge or the Templar. What about the cord pull job on Crota? Or the fact you can skip 90% of that Crota raid and can solo it rather easy back when we were still only 32's. And let's not talk about the broken state of Pvp in this game or the fact that there have been more nerfs than weekly updates! Unlimited bow and hammer glitches in Pvp. This game has been broken since day 1 but don't tell that to a Desticle. LoL but yeah a game that has been out less than 2 months is far more broken. Get over yourself Chump.

1 답변People really just don't seem to understand how goddamn hard it is to maintain and run a persistent world video game, particularly on consoles where it hasn't been done as often. Take a coding class. Look up how hard this shit actually is. Then, go make a similar game. See how glitch free and stable it comes out.

Ill agree with you on some points but not on the point that destiny was never badly broken. Ive just recently come back to destiny after the update having taken a break since January and played the division pretty hardcore during that break, but one thing i found is that i got bored much much quicker with it than i did with destiny, i did enjoy it a lot while playing it for awhile though until i got to endgame and was there for awhile. Its the same grindy repetitiveness of destiny but atleast with destiny i get a little diversity, bosses are different, in the raid theres different mechanics to kill the bosses theyre not just bullet sponges with names. Also even though i was super excited about the darkzone i feel like this is the area that let me down the most and being as its the only PvP it just magnifies the let down for me, so its back to destiny until i get bored again.

We already proved a point lol. Gang bang? Working together? What else is MULTIplayer for?? And one shot? Do you have low health? Smh. Good job bungie one small dlc that wasn't cut from the base game got people back to playing this game. Too bad there's still lag, no dedicated servers, a terrible damage referee and not balanced/fixed guns (doctrine and tlw) also I'm guilty of using those two so I'm not salty that I got killed by them. There's no difference in their "balance/Nerf"

1 답변I'm not sure where everyone went but a lot of my Iron Banner games were less than full. A lot of 5x5 and even some starting at 4x4.
