There's something seriously wrong with the loot aligorithm in strikes.
That, or it's some character issue. There's simply no other way of explaining how I've only recieved one exotic engram and one strike specific item in 40 heroic strikes since the update. It's ridiculous .Patrol ToC's included I now have a exotic engram drop rate around 1/50 ToC. At no point have I stacked ToC and even if the occassional strike would take less than the soft cap lockout, shouldnt that increase the chances of getting a drop the next time?
And to make things worse, I don't see fireteam members getting much loot either, give or take the random exotic engram.

2 답변Using 3oC on strikes is a useless move. Your best bet is to use them in the crucible. Much higher drop rate.

I probably got 10 dry rots, and 40 other legendaries I don't remember the name of. Add in 2-3 exotics, and it still felt rewarding to grind them out (even though I died every time someone else got a hopscotch and eventually it became very boring." The loot drop rates are just seemingly broken right now. While this update fixed a lot of things loot related, the drop rates still seem poor. I have gone 5-6-7-8 strikes without a legendary, when they do drop they are rarely weapons (rngesus plz) and if I had to describe it in one word - lousy. Diablo 3 does loot right. Give very frequent legendary drops, and let the player decide what is worth keeping. And even if they aren't a good roll, they are still useful as weapon/armor parts and crafting mats. Bungie needs to up the legendary drop rates in strikes/crucible/iron banner, and they should add a chance at getting the new "upgraded y2 version of y1 weapons" like ldr/longbow/etc as a reward in those activities.

2 답변I did notice that after some heroic strikes my 3oC wasn't consumed even after killing the end boss. Omnigul was one of them and I think Psion Flayers. They both took an hour or more to complete too with people quitting so I stopped running heroic strikes for exotic engrams and started only doing it with Crucible matches. Within an hour I already had 2 exotic engrams and bad a blast.

1 답변I use one about every 30 minutes when I run strikes and get exotics fairly often. Don't use ToCs all the time but randomly

2 답변Year one cryptarch makes a cameo. Instead of giving you blues for your purple engrams he just stops you from getting them altogether. Go pray to the remains at the original loot cave and try again.

9 답변What really pisses me off is the fact that I can run through 5 WAVES OF enemies in PoE and be awarded 2 blue items every single time. Between 3 chests, how? That's just sad. The two smaller chests give you engrams outside of PoE, why only drop a coin or mote instead? I get 5 motes every time my xp bar fills up! Don't need these. Mote farming is easy. Find a Destiny event tracker, jump around planets doing events. 5 for the first, 3 for every event after. That and the leveling up net a great amount of motes quickly. PoE though? 5 annoying rounds centered around mines for a 275 blue sidearm and another wolf pelt weave armor piece? Why?

I cant get helmet, gauntlet or chest. Got legendary for chest and gaunlet this weekend that decrypted to artifacts and then i got a 130 knight gauntlet from POE. WTF! Something is wrong with my loot/reward algorithm. The account i have from Y1, Hunter = no gauntlets or cloaks, Titan = no helmet or primary and Warlock = no chest or heavy. Fortunately weapons are transferable and encryptions are too. I recieved no rewards from PvP this weekend and they said they fixed that.

I'm with you maybe 3 total engrams in all of last 2 weeks, zero strike specific drops All my engrams came from 42 bosses My friends will get exotics and strike loot all the time and one time even 2 exotics dropped for 1 player on 1 ultra

And no, I mean no strike specific legendaries. This weekend wasn't much better. I ended up grinding nightfall. I got 7-8 Helmets (all 334 except for two). Not really salty, cuz these last 2 weeks have been fun. Just wanted to tell you, you're not alone.
