You know why I hate Anime?
Why does every single Anime intro have to be a bunch of people running?
That always bugs me, idek.

The majority of anime is shit because studios make the same amount of money from shit and it costs less. Sometimes they have to bankroll a really good one to keep up their reputation and boost sales of future shit. A few studios really give a -blam!- about artwork, character development, plot etc. Watch more of those. Don't know your tastes so can't really recommend anything.

There are only a few that doesn't and are actually good but people never get to because they give up before getting to. That's why anime really went to shit the last few years.
