Hey guys, it's cool to see the community back at work again on something quite interesting.
While I do believe that the guys over at Reddit have it nailed with this image http://imgur.com/lxULRbi being a hemispheric design, I had already started rendering something that may just be interesting at this point. I used to do a lot of work with images and sound and because of that experience, I noticed that the above image was similar to what a lot of images look like when they are in the process of being converted to sound.
I took the liberty of dusting off a dead YouTube channel of mine to upload what I got when I converted the image all the way to sound. Be careful with your volumes however. I did not edit the sound at all after conversion so the volume may rise and fall at random and sometimes sharp intervals.
Like I said though, I believe Reddit hit it out of the park with this one, but the sound from the image is quite interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ju_GtUtcM28
