As a person who mostly favors crucible in destiny, the April 12th 2016 update spark new life in me wanting to play destiny again after a long dry season of having no new content in the game. You can check the patch notes on bungie's website for all the details(https://goo.gl/HKr1x6). Now in the weapons changes part of this update, bungie spoke about how fusion rifles were getting a base state increase, and a tighter projectile spread. Back in vanilla destiny fusion rifles were really good, and i was a faithful user of them, until the projectile spread nerf. After running a few matches i feel that i can compete in normal crucible with fusion rifles now as of this patch 2.2.0.1. But this is just normal crucible thus far, and the real test begins for fusion rifles when trials of osiris come around. But anyways checkout this gameplay of me rocking the long far gone fusion rifle to see if this update helped out this weapon type.
