I remember watching the gameplay footage they released during E3 last year. Or at least I think it was E3, might have been some other convention. Anyways, I remember thinking, "who the -blam!- is this guy?" The person you're playing as. I was sad that you don't get to play as Marcus. Then I watched this trailer and it all made sense. The protagonist is Marcus and Anya's son. Still I don't picture Marcus as the settle down and raise a family type. Even with Anya.

I have a suspicion that despite canonically speaking (Adam Fenix in the books states "I'm not sure why Marcus would choose to be with a sterile woman.") Imulsion made people sterile. Well at the end of Gears 3 Adam's device neutralized the Imulsion parasite, thus no more infertile woman or men. Anya is JDs momma. Just a theory.

14 답변Hyped as fůćk. Gears always has amazing trailers. They always know how to use the emotional aspects of the story to hit home with the audience. For anyone interested in the gears story, read the books, they are very good especially if you have played the campaigns in GOW 1-3. Karen Traviss does a great job with the books.

92 답변Honestly, I'm hoping for (somewhat) Intelligent Locust. Why? Because Adams Device killed stuff that was overly infested with Imulsion (been a while since I've played 3, my memory isn't the greatest), who's to say that some Locust weren't as badly infected as the others? The Device killed Formers, but not Veterans of the Hollow Assaults, like Marcus, Baird, Cole, etc. so that's my reasoning behind that.
