For the first time I played iron banner last week and also for the first time I ran out of glimmer with all of the infusing and upgrading. I expect more of the same will happen after the update. I was able to get 9000 glimmer in 1 hour repeatedly killing fallen in the Archive mission. I had a fallen glimmer ghost and used 5 ether seed consumables but found 5 more during the hour so that was free. Are there faster ways to generate glimmer? (BTW I ran strikes for two hours and only made 3000 glimmer. 90% of that was from decrypting engrams, so yes I'll farm when it pays 6 times as much.)
