I'm more hyped for this than the April update itself!

If you're the guy that uses Thorn, a year 1 gun in a YEAR 2 playlist, then don't even bother replying, ya?
Feel free to use it in Y1 Playlists and all but DoT primaries have been removed, nerfed and destroyed in other games as well.
Anybody who's played more than shitty FPS console games would know this.
Edit again, because you know people are stupid and all.
So the popular bandwagon today is that I'm inherently ruining PvE by asking for nerfs.
First off- I haven't asked for a single Nerf since the hand cannon meta. I've only agreed and disagreed respectively with nerfs and buffs after they've been passed.
Even if I did ask for said Nerfs-- which I didn't-- you are placing the blame on the wrong person. The fact Bungie can't separate PVE and PVP nerfs is beyond me.
Oh and anybody who uses Thorn in PvE enough to the point where you go on a period when the DoT is reduced a little bit due to the excessive general usage in PvP should honestly just break their disc or uninstall the game.
I won't tell you how to play a game you paid for or anything, but seriously guys? Thorn being nerfed is detrimental to PvE?

2 답변Don't worry about all the negative comments they are just extremely salty plus any argument about thorns use being made worse in pve is bull because it didn't come forward anyways so the light didn't get updated anyway. Most of the people who agree probably don't even post because we've already won that's why the nerf is taking effect in the first place.

8 답변Thorn has been dead since september. I used thorn in year one and the year 2 update killed it so i guess its buried in a deep grave now. Not that anyone goves a shit anyways

1 답변Thorn will never go away, it has high impact and prevents health regen for a few seconds. It will still be a viable option you will just die from the DoT less

Bungie community logic (try hards/sweats =an insult to you because i suck at this game. Scrubs for using x gun because i am utilizing the content and mechanics this game has to offer... Smh

Well, the nerfed dot on Thorn allows you to 3HK with one headshot. Other HCs of that type need two headshots to 3HK. And it keeps people from regenerating. And it gives slight tracking.[spoiler]This was b8, wasn't it?[/spoiler]

14 답변Too long, didn't read, and don't care... Anyway, Thorn isn't destroyed or irrelevent or obsolete, and yes I do use Thorn in Y2 playlists. Call me whatever you like but the only way to stop a full team of DoP is to counter it with Thorn's DoT. And also not to mention Thorn is a really cool gun in general. And yes I will still be taking my Thorn into the Crucible after the update because like I said it's a cool gun and a effective gun as well. LONG LIVE THORN! WHOEVER'S WITH ME AND WILL CONTINUE TO USE THORN SIGN HERE... But on some real shit, obv in ToO or IB I'll use Y2 weapons because light matters in those and Thorn is only Y1, but in playlists where light doesn't matter, Thorn will be one of the weapons I'll still use after the update.
