I'm surprised I'm not seeing people upset about this
From what I've heard, mida will be losing its innate high caliber rounds perk
That's a shame. I enjoyed how I could practically stun some enemies
Thoughts?

2 답변They LITERALLY only nerfed mida, 1k stare, and terminus because they're too popular. They actually say it in the update that they're being nerfed despite being balanced because so many people use them. Actual word for word what they said on the MIDA Multi Tool:
Ignoring popularity, we think MIDA is fairly balanced in the global scale of weapons but I’m sure many non-MIDA users are starting to get tired of seeing that name come up in their death screen. Considering the popularity of the weapon we wanted to preserve how it feels to use but thought it was best to make it a little less horrible to be on the receiving end.
On the 1000 Yard Stare:
This is an interesting situation. We don’t like punishing a relatively-balanced weapon just because it is popular, but we also want players to feel like they have options.
On Quillim's Terminus:
Not to keep banging the same drum, but it is important to us that players feel like they have options and that there isn’t a single ultimate weapon per archetype.
THEN MAYBE ADDING MORE OPTIONS YOU CLOWNS

2 답변I only used mida for the speed boost. I can give 2 shxts about highcaliber rounds away. Pvp I didn't really notice it helped in anyway.

2 답변If they messed with anything else on it people would riot and throw tantrums. It was a fair move and honestly it should of got hit even harder.

Well, it wasn't always an innate perk. It was added to make it better but scout rifles have been buffed since then multiple times. So it's in its vanilla condition + buffs (Not Including Year 1 Bugs). I'm not too upset, the big reason to use it in pve was moving at sprint speed even when not sprinting. Being a great way to circumvent the sprint cool down.

3 답변I think it'll be fine still in PvP, but it's going to take a big hit in PvE. Those high caliber rounds definitely were life savers. I think Bungie should give it Shoot to Loot to make up for loosing high caliber rounds. It would fit the "Multi Tool" moniker and come in handy.

5 답변Yup, it's stupid that they removed it due to pvp because HC rounds aren't much of a difference in pvp unlike pve (seriously go search it up on YT)

23 답변When any exotic has its characteristics altered, it should be to fix a bug. Instead, it's to appease PVP incompetence. "HC rounds cause me to flinch so I can't shoot back. That's unfair and makes the gun OP". In fact, if you are flinching it's because you are being shot and hit. You should be dead, not flinching! If the gun didn't kill you then it's useless! It's not OP, it's shit. All you 'balance' guys want these imaginary guns to act like real guns, when shooting, but act like toys when being shot. It's just pathetic now. Pathetic game, pathetic company and pathetic appeasement... Exotics are having their exotic removed. The weaponry has become 'no kid left behind', 'entitlement', and 'fair play'. This isn't a cultural exchange program. It's a battlefield. You are going to be shot to hell, killed badly and kill. Play Chess if guns here are too deadly for you... Oh, wait, no need, balancing will even the playing field... I would complain, but, I no longer care. It's just pathetic now... Exotics should never be balanced, they are Exotic. That's why "there can be only one". Apparently no one knows that here, especially Bungie sandbox. Enjoy the game, exotics are no longer exotic, just yellow...

3 답변Bungle is really good at annoying people. I deleted everything last September. I mean everything! Having payed for TTK, I picked it up again. But boy, what a pointless grind! All they do is make the bosses stronger, nerf the weapons people use the most and raise the light level so you have to keep grinding! It is a slap in your face! Time is everything. You spend it on upgrading something and infusing it up and Bungle disses you totally by nerfing the gun. I find they reek of arrogance. Time for another break. They can shove their Destiny2 for all I care.

작성자: CreativeSteve 4/9/2016 4:24:32 AMSome have voiced opinions and so have i, i even tweeted deej the other day but no response. Shame really it's always been my go to scout. My replacements when is wasn't available were boolean Gemini and treads upon stars.

This is something I probably typed a couple dozen times the other day, but I was initially upset about it myself. MIDA's been my favorite weapon in the game since early Year 1, when it was considered "ugly" and "not exotic enough". I loved it even more than pre-nerf Gjallarhorn. But after some thinking, I realized that I have no problem at all with the removal of HCR in Crucible. I just don't believe HCR should be removed in PvE. MIDA saved me (and through me, my friends) on multiple occasions. I can't describe the satisfaction of stunning a Cleaver Knight that's about to take a swing at your buddy. XD

작성자: Cryha 4/11/2016 2:54:19 PMCos too many scrub snipers cant outgun it from across the map. I am a sniper (fast fire low impact preference) and used mida a while when they brought it back and enjoyed it when using a shotgun instead of a sniper but anyways it is a shame they will be dewtroying such a well balanced gun tomorow

It's weird because I experimented with high caliber rounds with some other primaries I have and they are not nearly as effective at fending off snipers as the Mida. Well, whatever. I didn't even know Mida had hcr until last week anyway.
