It's come to my attention that the latest news regarding the upcoming patch for a certain Tom Clancy game from Ubisoft has it's playerbase in an uproar. That game had been proposed to be (like many before it) to be the game that ends Destiny. How ironic that it's actually committing it's own suicide a little more than a month after release, and here we are, 2+ years into Destiny.
The game's not perfect...not by any stretch, but in hindsight Destiny is doing a lot better than a lot of other AAA titles that have come and gone since September 2014, and has a lot of good things for it.
But not to worry haters...there's still No Man's Sky. Or Overwatch. Or maybe Paragon. Keep hope alive!!! lmao

1 답변Most people just play lots of different games. They don't get sucked in by this us/them garbage whether its refering to games or consoles etc. That is unless they see this nonsense topic time and time again until it grates on their final nerve. I almost think people who bring this up are afraid they will be left all alone in this one game..so they bash everything else.

1 답변The only way Destiny will die is if it commits suicide, or if someone blows up Bungie HQ, or if giant fire-breathing ants that puke acid and sh*t ice cream invade their building and one of them accidentally craps on the server room and burns the servers out with sweet, delicious neapolitan flavor.

1 답변작성자: PeetSquared 4/7/2016 10:47:38 PMDo any of you stop and think how stupid it is when you play this "us v them" thing? Seriously, it's silly. Also, where are the people who, like myself, play multiple games? I'll do a few months of Destiny, followed by a few of Warframe...hit a few other titles in there, maybe go back to one my loot grind games, etc. Where did this notion of blind, one game only, fanboyism take hold as a good thing? I'm not trying to imply its a bad thing, to each his or her own. I just don't get this hater-mob mentality. What do y'all even get from it, aside from playing less games?

3 답변I still play destiny from day one. i'v played other games but keep coming back. Just had a good 3 month break from gaming as I just lost interest. Got the division but wasn't my kind of thing. Really looking forward uncharted 4. I'm hoping it gets me back into gaming. Iv really lost interest lately. Iv gone from playing every night to maybe once a week if I can be bothered..

3 답변Did get boring quick. When it dropped literally everyone on my friends list was playing it. Two weeks later and All of them are playing destiny again. Most have the same feeling for the division. Was fun but doesn't have enough end game content to keep them playing. Free for all only pvp and and incursions being only 15 waves of enemies and then kill a guy driving a Humvee was the nail in the coffin.

What uproar would that be? You mean the increase in in material cost for crafting stuff? I'd hardly call that an uproar. You can not have been around in Destiny's first year. If you were you would know that Division still can: - further decrease possibilities to gain materials - introduce new materials - make that material worthless - change the amount of currency you can hold - decrease the means of aquiring currency - make Incursion specific gear (already announced but with more variety than Raid gear and useful outside the Incursion) - make that Incursion gear useless come Incursion 2 and still wouldn't be on par with Destiny's y1. To be on par they would have to remove guaranteed high end drops from daily challenges and replace them with possible (very slim chances) high end drops from weekly challenges. If you want to compare Division with Destiny as it is now, you'll have to wait until Division is in its second year. PS.: No game kills another game but if I look at my PSN List out of 30 people last year now only two play Destiny. So there really is a decline in player numbers.

4 답변If you guys haven't seen this, you need to watch it, honest trailer for The Division: https://www.google.com.pk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DCILGuNPLUJ0&ved=0ahUKEwj0o6Tz1_zLAhUMKZQKHSQQCwIQtwIIGDAA&usg=AFQjCNGoa-5_CflhkUDqpbGtwrcAkRoWXg&sig2=irs4qDbxcaE-Bve3ncxwVg Im not a fan of Destiny at the moment, I'll play a couple of strikes here and there, don't plan on coming back full time until later this year when the actual content comes but Division wasn't/isn't the answer. I'm going to try out Overwatch for my PVP needs, that looks like a lot of fun.

Pretty sure you have no basis for your comment, and are spouting mindless nonsense about The Division, propelling yourself to true Destiny fanboyism, and looking dumb in the process. There is going to be a shift in playerbase based on what game has what coming out. You will have hardcore fans of both, depending on whether you're a rpg heavy or lite person, but there is a lot of cross playing going on. I personally play both, well, I haven't played Destiny since Dec, and I'm enjoying the Division right now, but thinking of playing some Destiny again (we'll see, I have a tank to finish building first). So really, neither one will kill the other, there will just be ebbs and flows with the players that play both.

Some people love division, some people play both games. So they are no winner or looser. Each games got their fan. So who -blam!-ing care. I play both games for different reason
