Are Fusion Rifles Secretly Good?
So, Basically, I've noticed that, while using some Fusion Rifles, They really aren't bad.
I simply think its a matter of Competition and misunderstanding of the weapon.
MANY people I know assume you wanna max out range.
What I noticed is you actually need massive Stability on them in order to keep the spread tight and on target.
And then there is the competition. Shitguns And Lane Rifles are so easy to use in Destiny while fusion rifles require more skill over all. The weapon inherently requires more situational awareness to time charges and thumb skill due to having to hold a target.
The weapon relies on good positioning to function truly effectively (arguably even more so than snipers).
So, with the easier to use shotguns and snipers, the Fusion Rifles feel "underpowered" becaue they simply don't have the ease of use of the former 2.

Soo...I listen to crucible radio. It's a podcast for all things destiny crucible and they had some people on that work for bungee(sage and Jon wisnewski) that said that the plan c is a weapon they were looking to nerf because a low percentage of high skilled players were absolutely wrecking with it to a point that it pops up on their radar. Also the tounela scout rifle but we're talking fusion rifles.

I've had it equipped almost all the time since then (I really only unequip it now for certain bounties). It not only wrecks everything in PvE, but it consistently one-shots opponents in PvP [i]at midrange[/i]. I seriously don't know of [i]any[/i] special I'd rather use in almost any situation. Even if you don't have one like that, they can be -blam!-ing amazing. You can waste shotgun users from far outside of their range with ease. They take more skill and spacial awareness, but with a little practice anybody should be able to wreck with a good one. If people start realizing all of their bitching about fusion rifles was unfounded, they're going to start being used by everybody.
