As an aspiring astrophysicist, I know a thing or two about space. I also know that space is super cool and almost everyone I've ever talked to wants to learn more about it. This is a technique of studying I do with friends and family, as by teaching something that I know, if better cements that concept into my brain.
Fair warning: I don't know everything, and I will let you know if what you're asking is out of my grasp. But I'm pretty good, so fire away.

3 답변Hey me again. So according to my understanding, 2 cars approaching each other at 50 mph is about same as a car moving towards a still car at 100 mph. So what if 2 objects moving towards each other at the speed of light would be thought to be about the same as an object moving incredibly faster than light moving towards a still object. Do you think anything weird would happen or just a collision too fast to watch?

7 답변A simple question I just haven't bothered to look into So take empty space, and not just regular space, truly empty space void of anything to cause even the smallest amount of friction. Since there would be no friction and an unlimited amount of fuel, what in physics is stopping you from going faster than light?

3 답변How do scientists know that our sun will not go supernova. From my understanding a supernova happens when solid matter is formed at a stars core therefore it collapses into itself. How do they know our sun won't form solid matter and explode?

12 답변When it comes to Black holes, where do you stand on the potential wormhole deal and white holes? Neither of these things have been seen at all, however math has proven that these things should exist. Any suggestions on where to look? Also, what would you say to the idea of a Quark Star, an object so heavy that neutrons break into their respective particles and create what we call black holes?

20 답변작성자: CrazyLincoln 4/5/2016 9:17:03 PMThe universe cannot be infinite. If you're able to observe that galaxies are moving away from each other at an expansional acceleration. If the universe is expanding we can extrapolate backward in time and say that the universe was once smaller. Infinite can't become smaller and larger. The space time field is finite or at least from what we can tell as of right now. So my question is, what shape is the universe and what is it like to be near the edge? What is it expanding into? Or perhaps that too human of a question to ask and my brain just in not wired to understand the complexity of how the universe works.
