Okay, so honestly I have never watched anime in my life... and when my friends who are obsessed with it talk about all these shows and Japanese lingo my head hurts. I see a lot of people on B.net hating on anime, and I was a bit confused. I like the way anime looks, and I really appreciate the artwork. When you say you hate anime, do you hate everything about it? Or just the shows...
Or you know, the people who are obsessed with it?

1 답변I hate the people obsessed with it but i love anime. I will use Japanese language among other friends who watch anime but only for jokes we will get. I will admit i do use it on haters to make them even more mad :D. But heck i speak Chinese as a second language so using another language with many of my friends is common place. People who use it in normal conversation with strangers have a problem. Anime is diverse and has something for everyone which is why i like it. It also has weird shit but what country doesnt have weird media? People hate it just like they hated comics. Marvel and DC were socially unacceptable when i was young and people got tons of shit, myself included, for being a "nerd." Yet now those same people who hated it get off to every superhero movie that comes out because its popular and they need to be "trendy." So i guess anime just needs a major hollywood blockbuster to come out to silence the hate from the hypocrites as they all jump on the bandwagon and say that the've always watched anime and love it. The hate will wane as it gets more popular and they jump ship. Just like comics and the superhero movement.

1 답변I think it's alright. I was born in japan and I watched it over there. When I moved to America, I watched it over here as well. To me, anime is just the Japanese version of what we Americans call cartoons. I definitely know that some anime is better than that cringy Disney Channel stuff.

1 답변I've only watched RWBY witch is apparently not real "anime" because it's American made. But that show is by far more entertaining then anything on tv.

1 답변It's alright. I usually watch anime for some good action, and deep, intricate, "plot."
Come on, we've all looked up heresy for at least one character, right?
1 답변Watching anime should be illegalized and punishable by death. Making anime should be a capital crime and the punishment should be being skinned alive.

I like a lot of the mainstream stuff (Naruto, Bleach, FMA, YuYu hakusho, Dragon Ball Z, etc) but beyond that things start to become strange (strange to me anyway) and I find myself having no idea what the hell is going on, I assume that is mostly some cultural stuff going on that I don't understand so it leaves me completely confused (like hearing an inside joke but not being the intended listener) so to sum things up I don't hate anime, I just have difficulty understanding it at times

Definitely it's sad that weeabos and similar fanboys kind of taint and overshadow the real thing. It's like with every single kind of animation out there. As there is wonderful stuff, there's also a lot of rubbish. However, I must admit that lately the most mainstream animes are somewhat formulaic.

4 답변Like any other tv series I like to watch it. I watch any type of serieses and anime is one of them. Most animes have a decent story, people think we see anime just for the boobs, thats not true.
