LDR AND LONGBOW ARE BACK
year 2 versions of everybody's favorites snipers lets goooooo, -blam!- THOUSAND YARD HAHAHA
edit: you CANNOT infuse your old "godroll" snipers you have sitting in the vault from year one. you must drop a new one. (thank god)
edit2: LDR will drop from updated vanguard packages.
Longbow will drop from updated crucible packages.
the other year one guns also have specific packages but this isn't the post for that.
(note that this is the only way to obtain them, they do not drop from engrams, but bungie has stated that earning rep is much quicker after this update so you'll be opening more packages frequently. the new post on the front page has the exact numbers)

All these threads telling people to "WAKE UP" It's the same name, different perks. We like them for sentimental reasons. I can imagine them on other fourms making posts like "ELMO IS THE ANTICHRIST!!! HE WANTS TO CONVERT AMERICA TO TALIBAN LAW!!! HE HATES US AND WANTS US TO SUFFER IN HELLLLLLL! 1 답변So..... In relation to yr1 legendaries becoming new weapon drops..... How are they gonna be the same weapon when the yr1 perks are removed from current loot table.....? Will these year 1 legendaries possess their own perk table to roll from.....? Otherwise it's just a name

As much as I love longbow (still have old reliable in the vault), unless a new longbow with the same perks drops, I'm not going to switch. I grinded my ass off for the thousand yard I have. If a longbow drops with the same rolls tho... I'm all over that (if only because the looks) Same archetype of rifle, same feel, but damn if the longbow doesn't look good.
