SBMM
Just remove it already. Go true CBMM. I love when people on these forums post about how CBMM is a thing, but they just have average stats. If you're average, you'll find a game quick because you're in a pretty big pool of players. When I play the crucible, I have average wait times of up to five minutes and sometimes longer. If I think about playing alone, I most likely will get a join in progress game.
This game treats the really good players like shit. Here's proof.
"Effective immediately in all Crucible playlists: If your matchmaking cycle lasts several minutes, we've loosened a restriction that will allow you to find matches more easily. We do not expect that this will impact the majority of players. In rare instances, this may result in matches with a wider variance in skill (i.e. More of us will get our asses kicked, but the connections to our ass-kickers will be good). The connection-based emphasis implemented by Hot Fix 2.1.1.3 is still in effect. This change applies to a small percentage of our players who were having a hard time finding a match."
To sum it up, if you are in that minority of really good players; you can go -blam!- yourself because Bungie won't let you play lesser skilled players. In fact, we're going to make you wait several minutes before you even get the option to. By then, you'll be in a join in progress match where connections are terrible.

2 답변This^^^ is the solution I think. It's quite obvious some players like sbmm and others don't so why doesn't Bungie players a choice instead of shoving it down their throats? This feature is from Halo Reach, Bungie's previous game. It's seems they've downgraded since then.

4 답변I want skill based matchmaking. Why? Because when I play with my partner who is a really really high ranked player (as in, 20+ kills and ~10 deaths in a bad game) I get absolutely slaughtered. If I go it alone I do really well and can manage a steady KD. Excuse the two games I played today haha, my last night games are more my usual role, wasn't feeling it this morning. So yeah, I want skill based to stick around because a game isn't fun when I'm getting slaughtered.

4 답변So you want to pub stomp everyone? What happened to having a game super close and winning by the wire. Mercy ruling or leading with 5000 points is not fun for either team lossing is getting rapped winning team it's too easy

As time passes, widen skill pool to shorten wait time. Great players shouldn't have to play laggy matches and average players shouldn't have to get curb stomped by great players all the time. This seems so simple to me but apparently it must be very difficult to do.

1 답변I tried iron banner last night and it was terrible! Warping, phasing, glitching and phantom immunity everywhere. Damage referee is a straight up lie! What's funny is when you're flying in and check the connections everyone has a green bar. But once you get in the connections suddenly go to shit. Untill Bungie can provide dedicated servers for pvp connection based matchmaking should be the only protocol when matching guardians. Game quality is so much more important than not letting some guardians get pub stomped. That's what the mercy rule is for.

2 답변There are so many problems you can't rank them. For you it may be sbmm but not for many. There is a laundry list of broken shit. And none of it seems to be very important. The only reason matchmaking got the big response last time was they got caught lying about their matchmaking. Don't think for a second it was because of anyone not liking it.

Skill based matchmaking should only be a thing in a ranked playlist. (With performance based rewards being a thing as well as a general increased rewards to draw players to that playlist) Even then you should have dedicated servers in place for that playlist to minimize the amount of latency that would be experienced by players.
