Yes destiny has its flaws but it's fun with high replay ability and i enjoy playing as many of you do even though you complain. ..but a game where you are a highly skilled special op agent with all this high tech gear and can't even get around 5 bags of trash on the fire escapes. ...really ? But hey...I guess people that are use to getting participation trophies all their life need a game too....see back in the tower soon cause that game blows...so stop hyping the division on these forums....we don't want to hear it

At least we have matchmaking for every single activity on the division, not to mention drops, and guess what, they are not useless drops like the shit that drops in destiny. Bungie philosophy is flawed in so many ways and I honestly pity the retards who still defend it.

There's a balance needed. I want the challenger of destiny and the drop rates of the division. I agree division can be super boring once you get to end game. I feel no need to continue playing it after 30 hours. Now, in destiny of f drops were increased and or the light they dropped at increase equal to or greater than your current light, then you could min max your gear, level up gear sets you want and create a guardian truly that is your own.

Then shortly after acquisition they remove it. Lemme know when Division nerfs weapons or adds moratoriums on relevancy. Lemme know when they remove perks from the game after implementation of reforging (bye bye shot package). I don't need to play the division to know how terrible Destiny has been to me. All the work I put in.....meant nothing. That's the kind of "grind for that reward" you like? The kind with no dividends?

Sorry if I can't take you seriously but, there's a little thing called Risk vs. Reward in video games which is kind of a core concept that you clearly don't understand... If there's a certain amount of risk or effort involved in an activity, the player is supposed to be properly rewarded and feel like the effort they put forth was worth it. Destiny tries to artificially extend it's terminal life expectancy by holding back the rewards and stuff you need to feel like you're actually making progress. That's bad game design. So, if I do a raid in Destiny on hard mode, I expect to get a decent weapon or piece of gear out of it not shards or some crap, but people often get shards, materials or a piece of gear that's under their level or something they don't need, something that's utterly useless, unhelpful, and serves no purpose but to "try again next week". This continues the week after and the week after and the week after, dangling the carrot. If that's your sense of fun, then more power to you. What you call "participation trophies" in The Division is actually what a properly working risk/reward system looks like. If I play a mission on hard mode, I expect to get a better reward than if I played it on normal, and I do receive a better reward and I feel like my time was worth it. Also, speaking of replayability, I can go back and replay ANY mission in The Division on a harder difficulty and that difficulty will scale to my level and so will the rewards which makes me feel like I can play again and still progress my character. Destiny doesn't do that for any mission except the Nightfall which doesn't even reward players appropriately seeing as how you get 280 light gear when you're light 300, ya that's super helpful, then you can't even try again, you have to wait another week, that's a good system how? Hell even in other endgame content you're lucky enough to get any gear that's 3 light levels below you as opposed to 10 or 20, how is that fun or rewarding? People who continue to play Destiny expecting things to get better or to progress their character at all are just suckers for punishment. People hold onto the misguided belief that Destiny has great potential to live up to, but even after a year it still hasn't gotten any better. In fact, Destiny has gotten worse, yet some people stick around, some hopeful, some frustrated. You clearly don't know enough or don't care to know enough about The Division to put forth any coherent argument or comparison between the two games, you're basically just saying "The Division sucks and Destiny rocks because I like Destiny!" which is not an argument at all.. You can go to the tower, where's there's nothing to do, and I'll see everyone else in the DarkZone where there's actually something to do. There is one thing I'll give to Destiny, the year 1 exotic and raid weapons had great personality which is something The Division hasn't accomplished being a 3rd person military shooter. But Destiny TTK kind of lost that with new generic looking weapons.

Bias much? The loot systems are almost identical. The only difference is that Division guarantees at least something everytime, whereas Destiny includes "no loot" in their boss loot tables. The grind is identical. Kill stuff for a chance at loot until you get something you want. The Division only augments that by allowing you to use the mats from the undesired gear to have an extra roll at another item you might want. To claim that the reward systems are different and to imply one is less rewarding is just plain stupid. RNG is RNG, there is no earning of loot in these games. Thats all in your head man. Just wait until you are grouped with someone who "earns" all that loot in one night, you will be back here raging about how they didnt earn it.

Can't even count how many times I went weeks without getting shit in Destiny, but shards and coins. Then Xur coming through selling the same crappy shit each Friday... No thanks. Destiny players have to deal with multilayer RNG systems that basically turns Destiny into hamster wheel. If it wasn't for Iron Banner, Destiny players would be screwed. The Division (like the Iron Banana) uses RNG to supplement their reward system instead of entirely depending upon it. If I get a great drop that's awesome, but I know I still will be getting something good for my time spent. I'm not playing for the Division drops, I'm playing for the blueprints. The Division is designed to reward you for your time, hard work and loyalty. Destiny is designed to punish you for that. Your shitty Destiny RNG loot system is nothing to brag about, it's actually a cruel joke.

What? So (grinding) boring is good? Failed. A good game is neither short, nor full of nonsense grind. You may look forward to working on a chain gang for the rest of your life, but most people wouldn't call that a good work experience.

3 답변Simply put: Destiny's grind = character regression. Division's grind = character progression No matter what I do in the division my stats go up. Could never say that about Destiny. The only participation trophy I would ever receive is the one where I'm reviving your dumb ass all day. If you don't want to hear about the division don't bring it up.

1 답변Well at least the division gears matter and you actually see the difference when you're actually killing ads as you acquire better gear that are more powerful. In destiny our light level means nothing. It still takes forever to kill a yellow bar knight in any activity. As for the division you can actually do more damage to higher level enemies a long as you have he right gear on. Destiny has based their gear on light level, but as far as I can tell our light level contributes nothing whatsoever to how strong we are when I a level 40 light level 318 is taking a lot more damage than I should from a level 10 dreg. That to me is ridiculous. Ohh and you actually buy and find weapons that are at your current level in the division that are level 30 unlike destiny you have to actually find higher light gears to even get it to 320. Both game are great in their own way, but for the most part the division has got it right.

8 답변In-game lore, in-game LFG, optional matchmaking, non PvP focused, less RNG dependence, shotguns kind of suck, quick patches, a well-laid out plan for the whole year, incursions, trading, a horde mode announced. The Division is essentially a laundry list of everything people has been asking from Destiny. If you don't like it, perhaps Bungie is right by not giving you what you want.

As a new Division player I have to say I am enjoying it and it's nice to have something a bit different to play. However, that said, and I thought I was 'done' with Destiny, I still keep coming back because the gameplay and movement is better. Movement is a bit clunky and slow in Division and the PvP (although majorly flawed) is enjoyable in Destiny. I'm looking forward to spending some more time in Division but I will continue to dip into Destiny and am looking forward to the stream this evening, next week and the update in April.
