Ur getting close to 30 so I suggest as u get closer and closer try to get at least 50k health and 70-80k damage for challenge mode. For new weapons once u hit 30 buy the pakan or whatever the lmg from the armory is u buy it with normal credits. I think it's about 450k. Once u have that I suggest getting the extend mag mod blueprint from the special gear vendor. After that either the vector or Ak74 depending if u like ar or smg.

Unlock the shooting range in security. There will be a target on the far right with a human silhouette. Fire some rounds into the chest area, then the head. The dps in your menu is based on body shots. Mods that increase critical hit chance and damage will improve this. Mods that improve horizontal stability allow you to fire in short bursts and keep most of the rounds going into the head. Other than that, the choice is up to you however you chose to go with your stats. Sacrificing stamina for higher damage isn't always a good idea if you are good at popping out of cover, landing headshots, then going back into cover before absorbing a lot of damage. Once you reach level 30, have all level 30 superior gear and maybe one or two high ends (I recommend the pakhan. You can buy it with regular credits in your base) you'll want to get your stamina as high as possible to take on a challenging mission. I used to run as a glass cannon. I put out more damage but my teammates had to revive me often. In some situations it's the worst thing that could happen. Extended magazines, higher rate of fire, increased horizontal stability and increased critical hit chance and damage can turn a mediocre assault, light mg or submachine into a much better weapon. This is the same advice recommended by streamers and professional players who upload on YouTube. I used to spray and pray, emptying out my magazine then ducking under cover to reload. By firing short bursts and focusing on headshots I do more damage using less ammo. This also helps with health loss. The less time you spend in the open the less damage you take. Except for the snipers most of the AI will be landing body shots on you.

You need to look at or bullet damage and you accuracy and crit etc. You dps stat is an average if you hit every bullet that's the damage you put out if you miss half a clip it doesn't even do. Half of it. So when you get a marksman riffle don't look at the dps look at accuracy per bullet and crit chance and the perks and modifier. Smgs - look at the mag, per bullet and crit and mod for Crit.

Hit lvl 30 and get better gear.

I have a [i]nemesis[/i] that gives does around 100 K in 3 second bursts. Although I do have low armor but my nimbleness and cloaking make up for it

It doesn't matter until level 30, then aim for 100k damage.

You're fine for now. 30 is when things matter though.

Just keep playing and using whatever better weapons that drop, until you reach 30 you dont really need to be searching for great guns. But if you want a decent weapon at 30 try to save about 430k creds by selling everything you dont wanna use so you can get the "Pahkan" High-End LMG. It will be good till you get something better.
