If The World Is Round Why Has All It's Water Not Drained to the South Pole?

If the world were in fact round as you all believe, oceans, rivers, lakes, all bodies of water would flow to the south pole. You can prove this: go up on your roof and dump out a bucket of water. Where does it go?[b] [i]Down[/i][/b], of course. How would a round earth be any different?

If you're on a mountain high enough you can actually see the curvature of the Earth. But seeing as how we have actually been to space and know that it's round, which is a proven fact (I feel like that's not sinking in), you're argument is invalid. Interesting idea to ponder when you're stoned, but has no merit amongst the intellectual community.

1 답변Do something for me. 1 You move in a straight line for a long enough distance 2 Turn right 90° degrees, walk in that same direction for the same distance 3 Turn again to the right 90° degrees and walk again the same distance After this you'll end up at the starting point. This is not possible on a flat surface since you'd just be "drawing" a half-finished square.
