Aside from crafting the perfect gear and stuff, The Division makes me want to play Destiny. I've been off Destiny for over 2 weeks which is the longest time I've taken a break. I plan to be off of Destiny until content release.
The Division got boring and stale in that exact time frame. I'm sure Incursions will be fun and challenging, but I can see that the end game revolves around pumping countless bullets into heavily shielded tanks for hours. So far not dynamic at all.
We all played Destiny way too much and ended up complaining about it. But Destiny is a far superior game in many ways. Again, they could learn from the crafting and stuff, but yeah. Destiny is better than the Division.

9 답변I agree with you man, The Division is good in its own way but from the start the game has hardly any content and replayability compared to Destiny at launch. If both games came out at the exact same time on the same exact day, even if Destiny didn't have any of the DLC put into it, Destiny would still win because of its replayability. The Division is a long grind to level 30 with zero fun put into the grind, and the game starts to get very enjoyable after you reach that level. Destiny however had a very fun grind to level 20 and a hard, long, and fun grind to level 30. Also before people begin to say "NO, I CANT STAND GRINDING THE SAME MISSIONS OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN ALL OVER AGAIN," think to yourself, people already did for an entire year on Destiny, and they will continue to do it. The Divison has content that gets annoying after doing it once, the DZ is the only new and fun place that quickly gets stale. TL;DR - The Division has less content, less replayability, and a lot less fun than vanilla Destiny.

4 답변작성자: EYEQUtheREBEL 3/23/2016 3:24:47 AMWhen I play Destiny I feel immersed in the world, enjoying the scenery, taking my time just having fun. When I play the Division I feel immersed in the world, enjoying the scenery, taking my time just having fun. See, it is possible to enjoy 2 different things at 2 different times. We are too impatient and spoiled to enjoy what we have in the gaming community. Game technology has grown exponentially thru the past decade or so. So come on guys, relax, sit down, grab your favorite beverage, put on those wireless 7.1 surround sound headsets, pop in your favorite game (for the moment), and enjoy your life. I can tell you, from being someone who doesn't get alot of time to game hardcore anymore, I take my gaming time seriously and enjoy it just as seriously. Cheers mates!

3 답변Anyone else but me notice severe eye strain when playing the Division? I can run raids all weekend long in Destiny and have had some marathon Batman sessions but after a couple hours playing TCTD my left eye twitches like crazy.

5 답변
Is anyone surprised that another boring cover based third person shooter isn't very good? All you people need to do is stop buying these games and they'll stop making them. Then maybe we can get games that have souls and were made by people who didn't treat art like a mindless corporate grind
6 답변Angry Joe actually gave The Division a worse rating than Destiny. He gave Destiny a 6/10, and The Division a 5/10.

12 답변Destiny has heart, The Division does not. Destiny has kind of taken on a life of its own with all the funny little things in the game. I doubt The Division will ever feel that way

4 답변
We all played Destiny way too much
I lasted less than 2 weeks. Destiny made me want to play .... anything that wasn't Destiny. Your thread, like others here, is opinion. I didn't enjoy Destiny. in over 30 years of gaming i've never found myself so bored of a game in such a short space of time. The Division is an average game, it's nothing special, yet i've found myself enjoying it far more than I enjoyed Destiny. For me, Destiny is not the better of the two games. For a game that has been out barely 2 weeks, i've played it longer than Destiny. An average game that does nothing unique and turns into a bit of a grind at end game is more enjoyable to me than Destiny ever was. Plenty of people have found some enjoyment in it, quite a lot of folk are playing it.
