What is the worst gaming related accident that you have ever had?
Mine was when I was playing halo 5 arena slayer, I think I had about 18 kills and was on my way to a Running Riot so it was a good match for me. Then my 80lb American bulldog/Pit mix decided to sniff my Xbone and his nose touched the power button. As you'd expect, I lost my shit lol
I also caught missingno in Pokémon blue but that's a story for another day.

작성자: Forum Vethi 5/3/2016 8:42:24 PMI used to play hot wheels on the DS, and I LOVED it. I had almost beat it. (Btw, I'm not sure which one.) I was in my moms' car while she was shopping, and I got bored and pressed a shit ton of buttons and deleted my character on accident. That day was not a good day

Socom 3 on the PS2. There's this one glitch that I'm pretty sure I caused by sitting on the game case, and it was this laptop on a mission. You have like 1 minute before enemy reinforcements come and storm the building, and my character would always glitch and never got up. So I never beat that game.

2 답변작성자: VII 4/15/2016 7:19:16 PMPokemon Blue totally ignored the guy who taught you how to catch Pokemon. Ended the game with a level 93 Blastoise and nothing else. I was about 6 years old at the time.

Round 40 on Shadows of Evil -upgraded sword -pack-a-punched haymaker -all perks -monkey bombs My friend decided to "surprise me" by coming to my house uninvited. He literally kicks open the door, comes in, snatches the controller from me and starts playing. (Keep in mind he's never played a CoD I his life) he goes down with Quick revive for me and I convince him to pause it. I go to take a piss for about two minutes and hear him say "I unlocked the Pharo for him and two liquid diviniums, is that good?" He unpaused it and immediately died because he was on my inverted setting. Kms

1 답변When I was about 7 I was playing Chuckie Egg on the BBC micro (yeah, I suppose I'm getting old). Anyway, I leaned back on my chair, fell off, and smashed my head on an outward corner of the wall. Since you couldn't pause games back then, I just tied a damp flannel to my head and carried on playing. I still have a large scar on the back of my head.

3 답변작성자: MurderrTrain 4/6/2016 6:34:06 PMOh I have a great one for this! Hands down my worst gaming mistake I've ever made. Back in the days of PS1 I loved MGS. Could probably say it's the first video game I was really dedicated to. I played it more than any other game at the time. Problem was I could never make it past the electric torture part because a memory card was a luxury I didn't have. I'm talking like months of playing the game and never getting any further than this part. However, one day I tapped that circle button like I had never tapped it before and finally made it past that God awful rage inducing part. I was thrilled beyond words to finally be able to play new content of a game I loved so much. I was super excited and carried on with hopes of finally being able to beat the game. I make it through the rest of disc one and am super excited to see what disc 2 has in store for me. At this point I would like to remind you that I was like 10 and two disc games were something I'd never encountered prior to this event. You probably see where this is going. I turned off the playstation and put in disc 2 Turn the playstation back on and...
Please insert disc 1
I have never been so disheartened and frustrated in my entire life.

2 답변When I owned a PS3, I was on the last mission of MGS4. Was going for the Big Boss title. Had everything, and was crawling down the microwave tunnel when.... Power is out. Some drunken idiot decided it was a good idea to drive and took out the power station. No electricity for ~4 towns. I decided not to panic, and just waited the 6 hours until I got power back. When I booted up my PS3, it gave me the wonderful "The device was shut down improperly" bullshit, and started it's usually 2 hour system's check. After that was done, it stated that all my MGS4 saves (as well as others) had been corrupted and were no longer useable. I nearly lost my shit. Packed up my PS3, and traded it in at Gamestop for pennies. Have refused to touch another Sony console since. The salt in my system over that is permenant.

작성자: ALIAS-F4LS 4/6/2016 7:41:49 PMDark Souls. I was up against 3 players and managed to take out one and almost kill another. Didn't quite realize I was standing near a ledge and went to finish off the second guy. he swung, I went to take a backstep and whelp... It ended with both of us toppling off the edge with phantom number 3 watching. I wasn't particularly happy with my predicament...

4 답변Ohh man. So one day, I was playing Battlefield 4 with some friends, and as to be expected, the game crashed. This being an occasional occurrence, I wasn't too worried. That is, until I found out that some data was corrupted, and so my PS3's memory was completely wiped. All data for ALL games was lost. Dark Souls, Skyrim, Uncharted, you name it. Countless hours down the drain.

2 답변So years ago I was playing lineage 2 . It's a heavy pvp oriented mmo . Had 3 guilds taking down an epic raid that spawns like every 10days . I was playing elvish healer so I was in the tank party . One of the skills I had was called party recall, which instantly teleports the group back to town . The whole raid engages and we begin to take down this massive health boss . About 30 mins into the raid I accidentally hit my party recall skill teleporting the whole tank party to town. Raid wipes after that happens and it was single handed my fault.. Smh

2 답변작성자: Threat Shift 4/6/2016 3:37:11 AMFor anybody that remembers "Donkey Kong 64" you'll understand that it takes months to complete that game, so long as you still have a life. When I was a young lad, I didn't quite understand how to read yet, but my dad used to let me play. I never really made progress, because I didn't know what I was doing, and I would just run around. My dad had almost completed the game, he had maybe an hour left of play time, and that's quite an accomplishment for a guy that has a full time job. One day, dad wasn't here, and I wanted to play. Normally my dad would help me select the right stuff, and push the right buttons, because I couldn't read, but I decided to play without him. I accidentally deleted the file. To this day, me and my dad have our own accounts for everything. I started playing it again a couple months ago, and I'm only a quarter of the way through.
