Title.
Bungie has been working tirelessly on giving us something meaningful since the release of TTK.
We as a community have nothing in return, no appreciation, no nothing.
Face it, this community is extremely toxic.
And we still complain about this update they are giving us; not because they have to, but because they want to. It's FREE.
Which brings me to this. I don't think it should be free. I think they should charge at least $14.99 for this update. Only the true fans would buy it, making all of the other complainers leave; or realistically, stay on the forums and whine and complain while they brag about how other games are better.
Another thing. There's a taken shader. A TAKEN SHADER. If the update is free, that means everyone's gonna have it!
That's my reasoning. Discuss your thoughts below.

2 답변The real fans have shelled out over $100 on this game for content that was extremely lacking. If the name "Bungie" wasn't on this title, people would have given the game away a year ago. This is an extremely good and loyal fan base. Bungie has repeatedly abused the fan base by charging for dlcs that realistically could have been free on top of a game that was incomplete. Bungie owes the fans at least this much if not more.

I feel like you're joking, but I actually agree. I miss the days when bungie charged for dlc, because at least people had legitimate complaints about the content in them. Now the forum is full of people that are complaining just for the sake of complaining, & it's depressing.

Just look at Etheric Light and being able to re-roll your favorite weapons, both were very good things that they removed just to increase the grind and force players to use worse gear than before. We enjoy the collections kiosks because it frees up vault space and it enables us to see what we have left to collect. We appreciate that more vault space has been added. We like the fact there are weapon producers that have their own unique skill trees, weapon sounds, and models. We like the fact that some of the year one gear got new looks and features and the fact that any shader can be used on the armors. We appreciate that 3oC's makes it easier to get exotics now. We appreciate that they tried to make gear more unique with the boss legendaries. All of the above are great things they have done and added to the game. Players and fans of Destiny and Bungie think that these are great additions. Most loyal fans of the game are not loyal to Bungie because they continue to butcher this game every chance they get. We want the game to be great again, but you Bungie fanboys happily choke down whatever crap on a platter they put out that month and treat it like it's a 5-star buffet. Here's all the bad they have done: They remove features and gear just because they feel "The players are becoming too powerful" or they "Want the game to be played the way it was meant to be played.". They nerf weapons and subclasses into the ground, usually making them pretty much worthless in PVP and almost worthless in PVE. They timegated not only content, but level caps. They introduce a worse RNG system than anything in year 1 ever was. They introduced a level system that was worse than anything in year 1. They pretty much made all year 1 content completely and totally worthless and removed it, for the most part, from normal rotations in the playlists. They made it so we could only carry 1/3rd of the original amount of marks and then made it ever harder to obtain them. They nerfed weapon parts for no reason other than to increase grind. They worry more about cheeses than actual issues that affect the raid and can make it unplayable. They introduce a worse matchmaking system when, in reality, most of this games problems in PVE and PVP would be fixed with private servers and not player to player connections. Now, we have the same fanboys telling us that we should not only be grateful that Bungie might possibly making year 1 content relevant again, but that we should have to pay for it? If that is the case I hope someone steals something valuable of yours, brings it backs, and then asks for a reward and for you to be thankful for finding your stolen goods because that is exactly what this is like. If this is good players are of course going to be grateful, but Bungie has pretty much set our expectation of them to an all time low so you can't easily expect everyone to just bend over backwards for them. This update may be free, but free doesn't always mean that it is good or you should be happy, Someone coming in your house and then taking a dump on your freshly cleaned floors would be free, and they might even put some work into it, but you sure as hell are not going to be happy that they did it even if they did "Just for you".
