Recently the b.net Forums have seen the disappearance of several members, at least 3 of which, have been confirmed. Based on an initial investigation, it seems this is due to them joking about being younger than they actually are. Do you think this is Fair or Unfair?
For people who don't believe me, feel free to try it out for yourself. Just be aware you are opening yourself up to a 6-10 year ban. Fortunately, you will likely be back just in time for the next new content to drop.

5 답변Extremely simple solution; Don't claim to be underage if you aren't. Taunted to see if they actually get banned? They had it coming.

4 답변작성자: Nevenity 3/18/2016 11:17:57 PMIf they lie by being under aged, obviously they will be banned as it's illegal to play games under the age (or could have consequences like fines, banning etc). Clear rules have been described, so lying will get you banned. They know the consequences. It was their fault: lesson learned that you shouldn't lie. Clear instructions, disobey them and I'm happy for punishment. Would you be okay if you got lag-switched and Bungie unbanned them because they said "it was a joke". I wouldn't, they took the risk. Their fault, not mine.

4 답변So basically if I were to say that I was 2. A mod would HAVE to believe me and then ban me. This rule needs to be nerfed

4 답변Better safe than sorry. There is no real way for them to know your actual age. They need to learn their lessons some how, the world isn't a nice or fair place (tough lesson here). Life isn't going anywhere to tap you on the shoulder every time and say "you made a mistake, we will forgive you if you promise not to do it again" Welcome to the "Real World" kids!

I understand if they just have a blanket policy to ban anyone who "reveals themselves as underage" but not removing the (sometimes years long) ban after an appeal is stupid. Give them a short break for wasting your time, then let them be. Anything else is overkill to the extreme.

2 답변Unfortunately the only problem is that some troll kids get banned of a forum that has enough of them already. All this means is that some poor dumbass gets kicked because he's dumb enough to make it seem like he's at an age that is against the forum rules. Good -blam!-ing riddance.
