Everything that explosive rounds do!
-Adds an AOE damage to the contact point of every shot fired (pvp and pve)
-damage is split up between two numbers. Headshot damage only effects one of the numbers but the headshot multiplier is increased to compensate. (pvp and pve)
-decreased damage fall off due to a portion of damage being AOE which does not fall off at any range (!) (pvp and pve)
- ~50% (!!) bonus body shot damage on red bar enemies (pve)
- ~25% (!!) bonus body shot damage to majors (pve)
- ~16.7% (!!) bonus head shot damage to majors (pve)
- ~13.4% (!) bonus precision damage to cabal
- inconsistent bonus precision damage to vex.
- ~12.5% (!!) bonus body shot damage to ultras (pve)
- ~8.4% (!!) bonus head shot damage to ultras (pve)
-explosive damage goes through cabal and knight physical shields, and cause cabal to flinch without taking the time for those annoying arm shots. (pve)
-increases amount of flinch dealt (pvp and pve)
-adds a visual affect that makes it hard for the enemy to see immediately after being hit (pvp)
-certain guns get increased damage by 1 point (pvp)
Overall an extremely underrated perk. Hope this helped.

2 답변I want to know if explosive rounds, despite the color, do elemental AoE damage....cause I just got down with Nightfall and I was using a solar sniper with explosive rounds and it was like firing a grenade launcher. Took out enemies behind shields, around corners and in groups with a single shot.

2 답변On a sniper there is actually a practical use for them in pvp. If there is someone hard scoping a hallway you can shoot the wall or ground near them and the Aoe damage still applies. It's a heck of alot of fun.

I have an NL shadow with explosive rounds and you can really notice the flinch/vision effect. Someone will be shooting at me and I'll turn around and pump some rounds in their skull and they literally just can't hit me anymore. They had the jump on me and everything but once I start shooting they just can't see.

I tend to agree that explosive rounds are underrated. However, I would advise against them specifically on snipers in PvP. It actually prevents a high impact sniper such as the 1k state from res sniping.... Which is the only benefit to using high impact snipers in PvP IMO. - Bboy

22 답변Go buy that [b]"Not Like The Others"[/b] scout rifle from the Vanguard vendor. It's seriously the most underrated vendor weapon out there. Amazing perks: - Explosive rounds - Crowd Control - Reactive Reload [b]That's TWO damage buff perks. [/b]One procs after a kill, and the other procs after reloading. In PvE you will constantly have a 33% damage buff. [b]That's ON TOP of the damage bonus from Explosive Rounds.[/b] In PvE you will pretty much obliterate trash mobs by just hip-firing in their general direction. Not to mention it has stellar aim assist and a pretty decent mag size at 17. I like it better than Hung Jury. It's SO GOOD!! Go get one!

Got lucky in year one and got Gjallarhorn with explosive rounds. I read this post yesterday and started thinking about a Tread Upon Stars that I have in the vault with explosive rounds. Took it out for a spin and liked it a lot. Can't remember the other perks but it's equipped on my Hunter.
