Message to hunter mains
Dear hunters,
I'm very much in love with my hunter as of late and I've been crushing people and I've been crushed. I've learned how to be a pretty competive player. In trials, my hunter is my go to even though I'm a warlock main. I've noticed a lot of you (not all of you) are begging for a warlock nerf. I do agree that warlocks have a few strong abilities and perks, however, so do hunters. Throwing a smoke grenade at a person getting a revive and then sniping both in the head because they are stunned is op as hell. Then there is shadestep. People can vanish frame by frame picking up revives and shotgunning people. This ability is pretty strong. That's the ultimate reason why Id say any nerf to warlocks is unfair. I've also noticed Titans complaint too. I'd say Titans have issues. The ultimate issue is the melee range. It's way too short of a melee range. I'd love to see it extended but it probably will never happen. Titans still should not cry nerf though because they need to be more focused on buffing their subclass. Titan skating is a strong ability as well. But I bump Titan buff proposals all the time.
In conclusion: if you hunters who I've addressed get my warlock nerfed, I will push very hard to get your nightstalker nerfed!

3 답변Honestly, I think Shadestep is fine. The Nightstalker super isn't outstanding compared to others. (Self-res, Stormcaller, Striker). The class itsef feels like a Jack of all trades, and I love it. I main Warlock as well, but the past couple weeks I have been drawn to my hunter for PvP, espicially trials. Is shadestep OP is some aspects? Yes, espicially when it comes to grenade tracking(Mainly Axiom Bolt and the seekers). Are you immune to damage mid shadestep? Hell no, I've been headshotted mid shadestep, the problem most people have is tracking a shadestepping target. (Honestly, in trials I was being sniped and lit up with doctrines/last words while shadestepping.). Nightstalker is fine as a class.

First of all I think everybody should try every subclass for a longer period to be able to completely judge their abilities. Second I don't like this whole "class war" BS. I main a Titan but I still enjoy playing as a Hunter and Warlock as well. I also switch weapons and subclasses from time to time to keep things fresh.

I main a hunter. It's the only class I have. I started a Warlock but I just don't have the time to level up characters for the sake of having them. I almost exclusively play crucible with golden gun. I really don't particularly care for Nightstalkers...they seem pretty weak compared to the other classes of hunters. When I play against a Stalker I have never thought "wow, that's OP." Bladedancer is nearly unstoppable in super, though. Anyway... point is that shadestep isn't that big of a deal to me. Smoke combined with void grenades is certainly effective but both have to be charged at the same time and then if you use both you are vulnerable for the next few minutes. Everything seems to have a balance.

It's not hunters or Titans who ask for nerfs it's kids who think they need to be on top all the time and can't stand to lose. Maybe these kids happen to main a hunter or Titan but it is still not the fault of the character class, blame is on douche bag kids.

3 답변At the end of the day, Hunters have totally -blam!-ed over this game. Bunch of whinny bitches that just want and need every advantage in the game. Hunter mains are pussies, straight up and down. They were blessed again with the most OP subclass in the game (nightstalker), which truly is totally OP, and they still complain. It never ends, and never will. That's why this game is -blam!-ed. I'm sad to say my main has always been a hunter, because it's the best class in every way, and my brethren are vaginas that Bungie listens to for some reason.

4 답변Warlocks have 3 very powerful subclasses right now. I'm all for having 3 powerful subclasses, but that means the 2 other classes need 3 powerful subclasses. As it stands, the Gunslinger is the most even and balanced subclass in the game in my opinion. You've got high offensive output with no defensive gains. Bladedancers are supposed to be the balanced subclass between offense and defense, but unless you try hard with bladedancer, the super just isn't that great. I kill bladedancers more than any other subclass. On top of that, their melee and grenades are garbage. The only thing bladedancer has going on for it is blink. Nightstalker's super isnt very good in PvP so it has to rely on grenades, melee, and shadestep. It is a bit op, but in comparison to warlocks 3 very powerful subclasses, hunters just don't fully stack up right now. Now I don't think anything actually needs to be done to warlocks aside from dropping the shields of the stormcaller by a very small percentage. I think DoT needs an overhaul in general, meaning thorn as well as firebolt, so that's not a direct warlock nerf. If my arcbolt does 93 damage, then why do firebolt grenades do almost double that, PLUS DoT. It doesn't make sense. Overall I feel most of the classes are balanced except for the overly nerfed sunbreakers, but I can understand the frustration of constantly being killed by firebolts or ridiculous ranged melees that also give you an overshield without having to kill your opponent. Bungie needs to look at better ways of balancing though, rather than just constantly nerfing.

2 답변Is your argument basically hunters are good I. Trials so warlocks shouldn't be balanced because they're unbalanced in everything else while hunters are underpowered in places? You k ow there's more to the game than trials, right?
